JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Ketua KPK terpilih periode 2019-2024, Irjen Firli Bahuri mendapatkan promosi sebagai Kepala Badan Pemeliharaan dan Keamanan (Kabaharkam) Mabes Polri.
Dengan demikian maka ia akan mendapatkan kenaikan pangkat dari jenderal bintang dua atau Irjen menjadi jenderal bintang tiga atau Komjen.
“Ya, benar yang bersangkutan mendapat promosi karena dinilai berprestasi dan mumpuni. Pangkatnya akan menyesuaikan dengan jabatan barunya,” kata Kadiv Humas Polri Irjen Mohammad Iqbal saat dikonfirmasi di Jakarta, Jumat, (08/11/2019).
Menurut dia, Firli merupakan anggota Korp Bhayangkara yang sarat prestasi.
“Sejak taruna, Pak Firli itu kariernya sudah cemerlang, memimpin taruna dari tingkat I sampai III. Dia memimpin sebagai Komandan Resimen Korp Taruna pada tahun 1990, memimpin semua taruna tingkat I, II, III,” ujar Iqbal.
Iqbal menegaskan jabatan tersebut hanya bisa dicapai oleh orang tertentu.
“Jabatan itu juga hanya bisa taruna dengan nilai akademik, fisik, dan mental kepribadian yang tinggi. Sebab, kata dia, Danmenkorp Taruna itu adalah idola serta tauladan semua taruna yang ada.”
Firli juga pernah menjabat sebagai ajudan Wakil Presiden Boediono. Ini jadi prestasi tertinggi Firli di level perwira menengah karena hanya orang yang cerdas, memiliki pola pikir cemerlang, dan mempunyai kepribadian yang mumpuni yang bisa terpilih menjadi ajudan RI 2.
“Maka Pak Firli sangat layak dipromosikan (sebagai Kabaharkam),” tegas Iqbal.
Iqbal mengatakan Firli juga berprestasi selama menjabat sebagai Kapolda NTB dan Kapolda Sumatera Selatan.
