WWW.BERITATERKINI.CO.ID, Presiden Joko Widodo turut mengucapkan Hari Batik Nasional yang diperingati setiap tanggal 2 Oktober. Kali ini, Presiden menyampaikannya melalui akun media sosial, pada Jumat, 2 Oktober 2020.
Pada akun Facebook, Instagram, dan Twitter pribadinya, Kepala Negara mengunggah sebuah video animasi pendek berupa masker dengan motif batik yang berubah-ubah.
Menurut Presiden, pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi saat ini bukanlah penghalang untuk memperingati Hari Batik Nasional.
“Pandemi bukanlah penghalang untuk memperingati Hari Batik Nasional yang jatuh pada setiap tanggal 2 Oktober. Warisan budaya dunia dari negara kita ini bisa juga menjadi motif masker,” ungkap Presiden.
Presiden Jokowi sendiri pada hari ini beraktivitas di Istana Kepresidenan Bogor, Jawa Barat, dengan mengenakan batik berwarna gelap.
Pagi hari tadi, Presiden menerima Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi dan Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara Erick Thohir.
Usai pertemuan tersebut, Presiden lantas memimpin rapat internal. Ditemani Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, Presiden kemudian menunaikan salat Jumat di Masjid Baitussalam.
Untuk diketahui, Hari Batik Nasional diperingati untuk merayakan ditetapkannya batik sebagai salah satu Warisan Kemanusiaan untuk Budaya Lisan dan Nonbendawi pada 2 Oktober 2009 oleh UNESCO.
Hari Batik Nasional ini ditetapkan melalui Keputusan Presiden Nomor 33 Tahun 2009. (Red/Aj)
