Standar Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Pekerja Sangat Penting, LSM Jarrak Minta Pelaksana Proyek Nakal Ditindak Tegas
Bali.Beritaterkini.co.id. Pelaksana proyek pengaman pantai oleh pihak rekanan BWS Bali-Penida yang tidak menerapkan standar kesehatan dan keselamatan pekerja (K3) mendapat perhatian serius dari LSM Jarrak.
Melalui Dewan Kebijakan LSM Jarrak Pusat I Putu Sudiartana, meminta pihak-pihak terkait menindaklanjuti temuan LSM Jarrak tersebut, untuk segera memanggil pihak rekanan dan pihak BWS. Mengingat hal tersebut menyangkut kesehatan dan keselamatan para pekerja.
Ketentuan bagi para pekerja termasuk pekerja proyek sudah ada (K3). Ini hendaknya harus dilaksanakan dengan baik. Ini kan menyangkut perlindungan terhadap pekerja untuk menekan kecelakaan kerja,” tegasnya.
Terkait hal tersebut, pihak-pihak yang terkait seharusnya segera turun tanggan menindak lanjuti temuan ini. Bila perlu para anggota Dewan Provinsi juga menindaklanjuti dengan memanggil pihak BWS ataupun pihak pelaksana proyek. Jangan sampai sudah ada korban baru bertindak, lebih baik melakukan antisipasi pencegahan sedini mungkin.
Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja Seluruh Indonesia (KSPSI) provinsi Bali maupun Kabupaten menurut Sudiartana, hendaknya juga tidak tinggal diam dengan perusahan yang mengerjakan banyak orang buruh tanpa memperhatikan kesehatan dan keselamatan para pekerja. Mengingat wadah ini dibemtuk untuk memberikan perlindungan terhadap para buruh atau pekerja.
“APH juga harus bertindak dengan pelanggaran ini, jangan hanya ditonton menunggu terjadinya korban. Ya, mudah-mudahan saja tidak ada korban,” imbuhnya.
Sebelumnya, tim lapangan LSM Jarrak menemukan sejumlah perusahan kontruksi yang memperkerjakan sejumlah buruh atau pekerja tanpa penerapan K3, seperti pengerjaan proyek pengaman pantai Gilimanuk, pantai Candikusuma dan pantai Delod Berawah di Kabupaten Jembrana.
Pelaksanaan proyek-proyek tersebut dinilai sangat beresiko terhadap keselamatan para pekerja, terlebih material proyek kebanyakan mengunakan batu-batu besar dan mengoperasikan alat berat. Sejumlah pekerja proyek didapati tidak menggunakan APD lengkap sesuai ketentuan K3.
Selain proyek pengaman pantai tersebut ada pula proyek-proyek lain yang para pekerjanya tidak menggunakan APD lengkap sesuai standar K3, diantaranya, proyek rehabilitasi jalan di Tetelan, Kecamatan Melaya, proyek rehabilitasi jalan Pergung-Pangkung Apit dan rehabilitasi jalan Yehembang-Kedisan serta proyek-proyek lainnya.(red /kur )
