Muara Enim,Berita Terkini.Co.Id Bakal Calon Gubernur (Bacagub) Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel) Dr. Ir. H. Heri Amalindo, MM menghadiri Reuni Akbar SMEA Negeri Muara Enim (sekarang SMK Negeri 1 Muara Enim) Lintas Angkatan tahun 85 sampai 99, Minggu (03/09/2023).

Teriakan “Heri Amalindo Gubernur Sumsel” dan yel-yel “Maju Bergerak Menang” menggema di tempat acara, Gedung Serba Guna Lima Putri, menyambut kedatangan Heri Amalindo dari mulai pintu kedatangan yang didampingi Ketua Rumah Bersama Heri Amalindo, Firdaus Hasbullah, SH.

Ketua Panitia Pelaksana Jhon Hilaliah mengatakan, jumlah alumni yang hadir antara 800 sampai 900 orang dari berbagai kabupaten/kota di Sumsel.

“Ada yang dari Tanjung Enim, Prabumulih dan Palembang, pokoknya dari daerah-daerah lain juga ada,” katanya.

Ia menjelaskan, sudah beberapa bulan yang lalu mempersiapkan acara tersebut agar Heri Amalindo bisa datang secara langsung untuk silaturahmi dengan para alumni.

“Kita berharap dengan adanya silaturahmi ini semua alumni bisa kenal dengan Pak Heri Amalindo,” tambahnya.

Bacagub Sumsel Heri Amalindo dalam sambutannya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh alumni SMEA Negeri Muara Enim yang sudah memberikan support sekaligus mengundangnya ke acara tersebut.

“Kami ucapkan terima kasih akhirnya bisa bersilaturahmi dengan seluruh alumni SMEA Negeri Muara Enim,” jelasnya.

Ia juga mohon doa dari seluruh alumni, atas segala niat baik untuk melanjutkan pengabdian menjadi Calon Gubernur Sumsel pada Pilkada tahun 2024.

Sementara itu, Firdaus Hasbullah, SH sangat bangga dan bersyukur karena alumni SMEA Negeri Muara Enim sudah memprakarsai acara tersebut.

Firdaus Hasbullah menjelaskan bahwa Heri Amalindo memiliki kepedulian khususnya terhadap dunia pendidikan, seperti sekolah gratis dan beasiswa baik melalui jalur prestasi maupun kepada siswa yang tidak mampu.

“Bahkan Pak Heri memberikan insentif khusus kepada guru yang mengajar di daerah terpencil. Salah satunya sekolah yang berbatasan dengan Muara Enim dan Banyuasin, yaitu SMP Talang Betung, dimana 70% anak didik di sekolah itu berasal dari Kabupaten Banyuasin dan Kabupaten Muara Enim,” jelasnya.

Dalam sambutannya Firdaus Hasbullah, SH juga menjelaskan program Heri Amalindo yaitu Sekolah dan Berobat Gratis kepada ratusan alumni yang hadir.(**)
