PONOROGO-WWW.BERITATERKINI.CO.ID-Walau musim kemarau belum lama, namun kekeringan sudah melanda disejumlah lokasi di Ponorogo, Jawa Timur. Hal itu membuat Relawan Semut Ireng langsung bergerak membantu masyarakat.

Senin (27/7), dengan membawa satu truk tangki air bersih Relawan Semut Ireng bergerak menuju desa Pandak, Kecamatan Balong, Ponorogo.

Dilokasi, warga masyarakat sudah menyiapkan wadah air mulai ember hingga tong untuk menampung air.

Yuliana, salah satu warga desa Pandak mengatakan, sudah satu bulan ini ditempatnya mengalami kekeringan dan kesulitan air bersih. Untuk mendapatkan air bersih harus minta pada tetangga hingga beli. “Atas bantuan dari Pak Sugiri ini sangat senang, karena sangat membutuhkan air untuk kebutuhan sehari hari,”tambahnya.

Sementara Manto Setiawan, Ketua Relawan Semut Ireng mengatakan apa yang dilakukan timnya bertujuan membantu warga yang kesulitan air bersih. Bahkan pihaknya akan kembali mengirimkan air bersih jika warga membutuhkan.

“Warga kesulitan air bersih, walau dengan dana urunan kita wajib membantunya. Kitapun bisa datang kembali untuk memberikan bantuan air bersih jika warga membutuhkan,”paparnya.
