JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Komisi I DPR mengatakan bahwa Imam Besar FPI, Habib Rizieq Shihab dicekal pemerintah Arab Saudi bukan pemerintah Indonesia. Pencekalan terkait masalah visa.
“Informasi yang kita terima, kan ini pencekalannya dari pihak Arab Saudi terkait dengan bebas visa yang dilampaui,” kata Ketua Komisi I DPR Meutya Hafid di kompleks parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta, Rabu (13/11/2019).
Kendati demikian, ia enggan untuk menyebutkan darimana ia mendapatkan informasi tersebut.
“Kita nggak lakukan pengecekan dan investigasi tentunya karena memang ya bukan di ranah kami. Jadi kita menggunakan yang disampaikan pejabat pemerintah secara resmi dalam hal ini bahwa dia dicekal pemerintah Arab Saudi,” jelasnya.
Komisi I diketahui sempat membahas perihal pencekalan Habib Rizieq dengan Menteri Luar Negeri (Menlu) Retno LP Marsudi dalam rapat kerja yang digelar kemarin. Meutya menyebut dalam rapat tersebut Menlu tak menjelaskan secara spesifik mengenai penyebab pencekalan Habib Rizieq.
“Tidak secara spesifik (bahas penyebab pencekalan), karena di Arab Saudi kita punya banyak sekali tenaga kerja kita yang juga saat ini bermasalah dan harus juga dipikirkan,” ucapnya.
Namun ia memastikan bahwa pemerintah Indonesia akan memberikan perlindungan kepada Habib Rizieq, dalam kapasitasnya sebagai warga negara.
“Ya pasti (beri perlindungan). Setiap warga negara akan diupayakan dilindungi kalau misalnya itu memang dari Arab Saudi, kan menurut penyampaian Menko Polhukam seperti itu,” terang Meutya.
Sebelumnya Habib Rizieq mengaku jika dirinya tidak bisa meninggalkan Arab Saudi karena dicekal oleh pemerintah Indonesia.
“Saya dilarang berpergian ke Saudi, bahkan ini dituliskan sebabnya adalah karena alasan keamanan. Jadi sekali lagi, saya dicekal di sini bukan karena saya lakukan pelanggaran keimigrasian, bukan saya melakukan pelanggaran pidana atau perdata, bukan karena saya melakukan sesuatu kejahatan di Saudi ini, tidak. Karena alasan keamanan,” ujar Habib Rizieq seperti dilihat di cuplikan video YouTube Front TV, Minggu (10/11/2019).
Habib Rizieq mengatakan surat yang dipegangnya merupakan bukti nyata dirinya dicekal oleh Saudi atas permintaan pemerintah Indonesia. Menurutnya, pemerintah Saudi siap mencabut pencekalan itu jika ada jaminan dari pemerintah Indonesia.
