PADANG – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Kapolda Sumatera Barat (Sumbar), Irjen Polisi Fakhrizal namanya masuk dalam bursa Pilkada Sumbar yang akan dilaksanakan tahun 2020 mendatang.
Hal ini tidak lepas dari dorongan sejumlah pihak yang meminta jenderal bintang dua tersebut untuk maju di Pilkada tahun depan.
Bahkan berdasarkan informasi yang beredar, mantan Kapolda Kalimantan Tengah itu siap maju melalui jalur independen, sekalipun banyak tawaran dari sejumlah partai politik yang siap mengusung.
“Awalnya dianggap sepi banyak elite, Kapolda maju cagub melalui jalur independen mustahil dapat 316.000 lebih KTP, tapi kini banyak pihak mulai gamang,” ujar Venture kawan satu almamater Fakhrizal di SMA Negeri 2 Padang, Senin, (18/11/2019).
“Tapi beliau keukeuh untuk maju di jalur perseorangan, bahkan kalau maju dari parpol, beliau lebih memilih mundur. Itu kata Pak Kapolda sekitar bulan Mei dulu,” sambung dia.
Sementara itu, Fakhrizal mengaku bahwa dirinya siap maju dari jalur independen. Ia beralasan, ingin benar-benar mengabdi kepada masyarakat.
“Saya tidak mencari amanah, tapi dia datang karena diberi, lalu saya mau membuktikan apa betul masyarakat selama ini mendorong maju mau ikhlas dan tulus kasih KTP,” ujar Fakhrizal.
Bahkan saat ini jumlah KTP yang terkumpul sudah melebihi kebutuhan untuk pencalonan dirinya.
“Saat ini sedang didata dengan rapi dan dikerjakan relawan milenial cyber, bahkan hasil kerja relawan sangat membantu KPU dalam memverifikasi nantinya. Insya Allah melimpah dan melebih batas syarat minimum dukungan calon perseorangan,” tegas Fakhrizal.
Ia mengaku terharu dengan perjuangan para relawan yang mengumpulkan KTP untuk persyaratan pencalonan dirinya.
“Kalau 10 sahabat bergerak dapat 100 KTP itu sudah 1000, kalau satu dunsanak mengalang KTP dapat 1000, ada 10 dunsanak itu sudah 1000 ribu KTP, Allhamdulillah,” tandas dia.
