JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Pengamat kebijakan publik, Azas Tigor Nainggolan mendukung keputusan tegas Menteri BUMN, Erick Thohir yang mencopot bos BUMN yang dinilai bermasalah.
Menurut dia, sejumlah direksi BUMN yang terjerat kasus korupsi merupakan warisan dari kepemimpinan menteri BUMN sebelum Erick Thohir menjabat.
Azaz mencontohkan, dalam waktu sekitar 2 tahun ini, sejak Juli 2017 sudah ada 10 BUMN yang direktur atau pejabat di jajaran manajemennya tertangkap atau dinyatakan sebagai koruptor atau tersangka kasus korupsi. Bisa dikatakan, lanjut dia, bos-bos sejumlah BUMN itu diduga ramai-ramai melakukan aksi perampokan duit negara secara berjamaah.
“Periode ini adalah masa terburuk bagi kinerja manajemen BUMN yang dipilih oleh kepemimpinan menteri BUMN Rini Soemarno. Sudah terlalu banyak BUMN yang kinerjanya buruk akibat kasus korupsi dan pantas menjadi evaluasi total terhadap keberadaan manajemen unit usaha di Kementerian BUMN,” kata Azas dalam keterangannya yang dikutip di Jakarta, Senin (09/12/2019).
Azas mengatakan jika Erick Thohir penting melakukan bersih-bersih di BUMN. Pasalnya kata dia, aset negara yang dikelola 142 BUMN jumlahnya mencapai Rp8.200 triliun.
Ia juga berharap agar aksi bersih-bersih BUMN yang dilakukan Erick Thohir juga sampai pada jajaran Komisaris.
“Ada baiknya bersih-bersih bukan hanya dikalangan direksi atau manajemen BUMN saja tetapi juga hingga ke para komisaris BUMN,” ungkap dia.
Dia mengklaim bahwa direksi BUMN yang terbukti melakukan perbuatan korupsi karena kelalaian Komisaris dalam memberikan pengawasan.
“Komisaris yang mewakili para pemegang saham atau pemilik BUMN telah gagal, patut dievaluasi dan diganti juga jika tidak bekerja mengawasi secara baik,” papar dia.
Azas yakin, apabila BUMN bekerja secara baik maka unit usaha BUMN akan mampu memberikan keuntungan bagi peningkatan kesejahteraan rakyat.
“Justru habis dikorup oleh manajemennya sendiri. Jelas maraknya korupsi di tubuh BUMN sangat mengecewakan karena merugikan hak atas pembangunan rakyat Indonesia,” tutup dia.
