JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Menteri Dalam Negeri (Mendagri), Tito Karnavian melakukan pertemuan dengan Kepala Pusat Pelaporan Analisis Transaksi Keuangan (PPATK), Kiagus Badaruddin di Kantor Kemendagri, Jumat, (20/12/2019).
Selain membahas soal kerja sama dua lembaga, pertemuan tersebut juga membahas soal temuan PPATK tentang kepala daerah yang memiliki rekening Rp50 miliar di kasino.
Namun, keduanya kompak untuk tetap merahasiakan kepala daerah yang dimaksud. Tito menegaskan, bahwa Kemendagri dan PPATK tidak punya kewenangan dalam melakukan penyelidikan. Tugas itu kata dia, merupakan tanggung jawab aparat penegak hukum, baik Kepolisian, Kejaksaan dan KPK.
“Yang bisa mengklarifikasi itu adalah aparat penegak hukum, baik Kepolisian, Kejaksaan dan KPK,” kata Tito seusai pertemuan.
Kendati demikian, Tito memberikan isyarat bahwa kemungkinan besar kepala daerah yang dimaksud adalah seorang gubernur.
“Tidak bisa kemudian saya meminta kepada PPATK ‘Pak, nama gubernurnya siapa, inisialnya apa’ ya tidak bisa,” tegas eks Kapolri tersebut.
Ia berharap temuan PPATK bisa menjadi pelajaran bagi kepala daerah lainnya, baik gubernur, bupati maupun wali kota.
“Ini kami gunakan untuk mengingatkan teman-teman kepala daerah supaya lebih hati-hati, efektif dan efisien dalam mengelola keuangan negara,” tegas Tito.
