JAKARTA, BERITATERKINI.CO.ID |Pemerintah melalui Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) terus mempercepat realisasi Program Padat Karya Tunai (PKT) 2020.
Salah satunya adalah Program Percepatan Peningkatan Tata Guna Air Irigasi (P3TGAI) yang menjangkau 6.000 lokasi dengan anggaran Rp1,35 triliun yang dilaksanakan oleh Balai Besar/ Balai Wilayah Sungai Direktorat Jenderal (Ditjen) Sumber Daya Air di seluruh Indonesia.
Dengan percepatan realisasi program PKT ini diharapkan dapat mempertahankan daya beli masyarakat di tengah ketidakpastian kondisi ekonomi global akibat Pandemi Virus Korona (Covid-19) yang terjadi sekarang.
Hal ini juga sesuai dengan arahan Presiden Joko Widodo untuk mengalihkan anggaran guna mempertahankan daya beli masyarakat terutama rakyat kecil yang disampaikan saat video konferensi Rapat Terbatas dari Istana Merdeka beberapa saat lalu.
Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono mengatakan program infrastruktur kerakyatan atau Padat Karya Tunai sangat penting bagi masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah.
“Selain untuk memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi dan meningkatkan daya beli masyarakat, PKT juga bertujuan mendistribusikan dana hingga ke desa/ pelosok.
Pola pelaksanaan PKT nanti juga harus memperhatikan protokol physical & social distancing,” ujar Menteri Basuki.
P3TGAI merupakan pekerjaan pembangunan saluran irigasi tersier yang dikerjakan oleh petani atau penduduk setempat dengan diberikan upah sehingga menambah penghasilan petani atau penduduk desa terutama di antara dua musim tanam dan panen.
Tahun ini P3TGAI dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, di mana tahap I akan dimulai pada April 2020 dan ditargetkan akan rampung dalam waktu 3-4 bulan yakni pada Juni atau Juli 2020.
Program tahap I dilaksanakan di 1.653 lokasi yang tersebar di 31 provinsi.

Anggaran untuk pembangunan fisik sebesar 87% atau Rp195 juta dan pendampingan oleh Perkumpulan Petani Pemakai Air (P3A) sebesar 13% atau Rp 30 juta sehingga menciptakan penyerapan tenaga kerja. /Beritaterkini.
