Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) TNI Angkatan Laut ke-75 Tahun 2020, Komandan Komando Pembinaan Doktrin, Pendidikan dan Latihan Angkatan Laut (Dankodiklatal) Laksda TNI Nurhidayat yang didampingi Ketua Gabungan Jalasenastri Kodiklatal melaksanakan Ziarah di Taman Makam Pahlawan (TMP) Kusuma Bangsa yang berlokasi di Jl. Kusuma Bangsa Genteng Surabaya.
Bertindak selaku Inspektur Upacara pada Ziarah memperingati HUT TNI AL ke-75 Tahun 2020 Panglima Komando Armada (Pangkoarmada) II Laksda TNI Heru Kusmanto. S.E., M.M. Selain Komandan Kodiklatal tampak hadir dalam acara tersebut Gubernur AAL Laksda TNI Edi Sucipto, S.E., M.M, Komandan Lantamal V Surabaya Laksma TNI Tedjo Sukmono, S.H., CHRMP dan Ketua Cabang Jalasenastri Bakor Surabaya.
Adapun kegiatan ziarah ini merupakan salah satu bentuk penghormatan terhadap jasa-jasa para pejuang yang telah merebut dan mempertahankan kemerdekaan dengan mempertaruhkan jiwa dan raga.
Ziarah dalam rangka menyambut HUT TNI AL ke-75 ini memiliki arti mendalam bagi seorang hamba Tuhan, dengan mendoakan arwah para pahlawan agar amal baik, pengorbanan dan perjuangannya diterima oleh Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa.
Selain itu dengan ziarah tersebut diharapkan menjadi pelajaran berharga agar para generasi yang ditinggalkan senantiasa berbuat yang terbaik dan meneruskan tongkat estafet perjuangan dari generasi terdahulu untuk berjuang demi rakyat, bangsa dan Negara. Karena bangsa yang besar adalah bangsa yang menghargai dan mengenang jasa-jasa para pahlawannya. (Red/Aj)
