Pendaftaran Program Beasiswa Santri 2020 Dibuka, Kemenag Siapkan Kader Ulama

JAKARTA, BERITATERKINI.CO.ID | Ditjen Pendidikan Islam Kementerian Agama kembali membuka Program Beasiswa Santri Berprestasi (PBSB) tahun 2020. Pendaftaran dibuka selama sebulan, 1-30 April 2020.

“Pendaftaran PBSB tahun 2020 mulai dibuka hari ini, 1 hingga 30 April 2020”, ujar Plt Direktur Pendidikan Diniyah dan Pondok Pesantren Imam Safei di Jakarta, Rabu (01/04).

Menurut Imam, seperti tahun sebelumnya, Kemenag telah menyiapkan aplikasi pendaftaran PBSB secara online. Para santri yang akan mendaftar.

Namun, kata Imam, ada yang berbeda pada PBSB 2020. Tahun ini, PBSB difokuskan pada penyiapan kader ulama. “Fokus pilihan studi PBSB kali ini adalah pada Ma’had Aly dan program studi ilmu agama Islam unggulan di Maroko,” tambahnya.

Ada lima pilihan studi PBSB tahun 2020, yaitu: Ma’had Aly As’adiyah Sengkang, Sulawesi Selatan (Tafsir dan Ilmu Tafsir), Ma’had Aly Hasyim Asy’ari Jombang, Jawa Timur (Hadits dan Ilmu Hadits), Ma’had Aly Kebonjambu Cirebon, Jawa Barat (Fiqih dan Ushul Fiqih), Ma’had Aly Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Situbondo, Jawa Timur (Fiqih dan Ushul Fiqih) dan Universitas di Maroko, Kerjasama Kementerian Agama RI dan Kementerian Wakaf dan Urusan Islam Kerajaan Maroko untuk program studi Islamic Studies.

Kepala Subdit Pendidikan Pesantren Basnang Said menambahkan, sehubungan adanya pandemi Korona (Covid-19), seleksi dibagi dalam dua tahap. Pertama, seleksi portofolio yang diunggah oleh pendaftar dalam aplikasi yang telah disediakan. Portofolio diunggah dalam aplikasi pendaftaran selama masa pendaftaran dibuka. Panduan dan materi terdapat dalam aplikasi pendaftaran.

Setelahnya, tim penguji dan penilai akan memberikan peringkat berdasarkan hasil penilaian portofolio yang diunggah. “Bagi pendaftar yang dinyatakan lulus seleksi tahap ini berhak mengikuti seleksi pada tahap selenajutnya,” ujarnya.

Seleksi tahap 2 dilaksanakan menggunakan pola seleksi tes wawancara/lisan secara online. Masing-masing pendaftar akan mendapatkan jadwal tes wawancara/lisan dari panitia seleksi melalui email pendaftar.

Seleksi tes wawancara/lisan secara online menggunakan aplikasi Zoom Cloud Meetings berbasis android, iOS dan PC antara pendaftar dengan penguji dari tempat tinggal masing-masing.

Pola rekrutmen ini dipilih dalam rangka melaksanakan physical distancing dan memprioritaskan kesehatan serta keselamatan bersama. “Tentunya juga untuk bisa mendapatkan santri-santri terbaik yang memenuhi persyaratan yang ditetapkan,” jelas Basnang.
