PESAWAT MULTIGUNA C L-295, DIRGAHAYU 74 “TNI-AU”

JAKARTA, BERITATERKINI.CO.ID |C-295 atau yang punya nama lebih lengkap EADS CASA C-295 adalah pesawat terbang transport militer taktis dengan dua mesin turboprop yang dibuat oleh Airbus Military di Spanyol.

Pesawat terbang yang bisa dioperasikan untuk berbagai misi ini merupakan pengembangan desain dari pesawat CASA CN-235 dengan penambahan lebih dari 50% kapabilitas payload dan mesin turboprop baru PW127G.

Pesawat ini dapat mengangkut hingga 71 pasukan, 49 penerjung payung dengan peralatan lengkap ditambah dengan satu orang penerjun utama. Untuk konfigurasi evakuasi medis (MEDEVAC), C-295 dapat membawa hingga 24 tandu dengan 6 kursi tambahan untuk petugas medis.

C-295 juga memiliki APTS (Autonomous Pallet Transfer System – sistem transfer palet kargo otomatis) yang dapat diletakkan di bagian belakang pesawat.

APTS ini memudahkan proses memasukkan/mengeluarkan palet kargo di daerah terpencil, tanpa membutuhkan peralatan dukungan darat.

C-295 generasi baru ini merupakan pesawat yang ideal untuk misi militer maupun sipil bagi masyarakat – seperti misi kemanusiaan, pengawasan maritim dan pengawasan lingkungan.

Berkat kekuatan, keterandalan dan sistem modern yang sederhana, pesawat taktis berukuran medium ini mempunyai kemampuan beragam dan fleksibilitas yang diperlukan untuk mengangkut personil, pasukan dan kargo dalam bentuk palet ataupun jumlah besar, evakuasi korban bencana, penugasan logistik dan komunikasi, serta kemampuan air-dropping tersertifikasi.

Kombinasi peralatan sipil/militer teknologi ganda memastikan sukses dalam menjalankan misi taktis, potensi pengembangan sistem peralatan di masa depan, serta kesesuaian dengan persyaratan lingkungan dirgantara sipil dewasa ini. Pesawat C-295 merupakan bagian dari keluarga Airbus Military bagian pengangkut udara ringan dan medium
