MAROS, WWW.BERITATERKINI.CO.ID |Chaidir Syam terus bergerak membagikan sembako bagi warga Maros di tengah wabah Covid-19 ini.
Minggu (19/4), Chaidir terlihat mendatangi salah seorang warga yang terbilang kurang mampu, Dg. Embah di Lingkungan Pakalu, Kelurahan Kalabbirang, Kec. Bantimurung.
Wakil Ketua DPRD itu terlihat didampingi personil komunitas lari, “Maros Runners” untuk memberikan bantuan ke Dg. Embah yang rumahnya terletak di area Depan Kawasan Wisata Alam Bantimurung.
Selain Maros Runners, Donasi ini juga terkumpul dari komunitas Pelari Baik, dan Virtuathlon melalui donasi kitabisa.com.
“Selain Dg. Embah ini, kami bersama komunitas Maros Runners, yang sebelumnya sudah berdonasi juga menyiapkan 100 paket sembako untuk warga yang perekonomiannya terdampak akibat wabah ini”. Ungkap Chaidir.
Paket tersebut berisi beberapa bungkus mie instan, tepung beras, minyak goreng, susu kaleng, dan sabun mandi.
Selain Bantimurung, Chaidir juga menyasar beberapa lokasi di Kec. Turikale.
“Jadi sejak awal bergerak, banyak masyarakat yang menyampaikan permintaan bantuannya ke kami. Tapi kami sadar bantuan yang kami siapkan sangat terbatas.” Ucap Ketua PMI Maros ini.
Chaidir juga sangat mengapresiasi seluruh pihak yang ikut peduli dengan dampak perekonomian yang semakin surut dikalangan masyarakat sehingga butuh perhatian seluruh pihak baik ormas, komunitas terlebih Pemerintah.
“Di Maros ini, banyak elemen dan person yang jiwa empatinya masih sangat tinggi, sehingga meskipun bukan karena persoalan wabah covid ini, masyarakat Maros yang berkecukupan pasti ikut bergerak membantu masyarakat yang kekurangan. Apalagi menjelang bulan Ramadan.”, tuturnya
“Sudah seharusnya kita semua saling menguatkan dalam musibah Covid ini. Salah satunya dengan cara menyisihkan rejeki untuk orang lain yang membutuhkan. Beberapa dari kita harusnya bersyukur karena kondisi masih lebih baik dibanding saudara-saudara kita lainnya yang mungkin harus kehilangan pekerjaan”, tutupnya. Red-beritaterkini
