Informasi diperoleh di RSUD Rantauprapat menyebutkan, pada Sabtu malam (18/4/2020), sekira pukul 21.30 WIB, IN merasakan sakit di dadanya dan mengalami sesak nafas. Karena itu, IN berobat ke RSUD Rantauprapat.
Berdasarkan hasil Tes Cermo Skinner, suhu tubuh IN diketahui 36,08 derajat celcius, dinyatakan normal dan sehat. IN dibolehkan pulang ke rumahnya.
Namun, karena merasakan kembali sakit yang sama (sesak nafas), Minggu (19/4/2020), sekira pukul 10.00 WIB, IN kembali lagi ke RSUD Rantauprapat untuk berobat.
Selanjutnya dilakukan lagi pemeriksaan Tes Cermo Skinner. Suhu tubuh IN mengalami kenaikan menjadi 38,08 derajat celcius. Kemudian dilakukan dua kali Ravid Test. IN dinyatakan berstatus sebagai PDP dan belum diketahui atau belum bisa dinyatakan positif terpapar Covid-19.
Untuk penanganan lebih lanjut, dan untuk mengetahui apakah IN positif terpapar Covid-19, pihak RSUD Rantauprapat kemudian merujuk dan memberangkatkan IN ke RSUP H Adam Malik Medan, menggunakan mobil ambulance.
Sebelumnya, beredar informasi melalui pesan berantai di aplikasi WhatsApp (WA) di Kota Rantauprapat, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu, Sumatera Utara, Minggu (19/4/2020).
Dalam pesan berantai yang diambil dari tangkapan layar di telepon selular itu disebutkan, adanya pasien positif Covid-19 di RSUD Rantauprapat.
Si pemilik akun WA itu mengimbau agar masyarakat berhati-hati. Hindari dan tidak panik. Tetap menjaga jarak, rajin cuci tangan dan selalu pakai masker.
Menanggapi informasi tersebut, Direktur RSUD Rantauprapat, dr Syafril R Maulana Harahap SpB mengatakan, untuk memastikan positif atau tidaknya seorang pasien terpapar Covid-19 harus melalui tes swab.
Dia menyebutkan bahwa pasien berinisial IN yang diisukan positif Covid-19 tersebut, masih berstatus PDP.
“Malam ini tadi pasien tersebut sudah kita rujuk dan berangkatkan ke Medan,” ucapnya saat dihubungi wartawan melalui telepon selular, Minggu malam (19/4/2020).
