Upacara penutupan yang ditandai dengan pembacaan surat keputusan Dewan Hakim dan dilanjutkan dengan pengumuman juara bagi kafilah yang telah mengikuti Pekan MTQ Ke 37 tersebut.
” Alhamdulillah , pada kesempatan ini kita telah selesai menyelenggarakan Pekan MTQ , Dan tak lupa ,Dalam kesempatan ini Saya menyampaikan permohonan maaf dari bapak Nasrun , Karena dalam kesempatan ini beliau tidak bisa hadir karena turut mendampingi Kunjungaan Kerja Pangdam II / sriwijaya ” Jelas Pj Sekda Emran Tabrani di awal sambutan nya.
Lanjut Emran , Pemerintah Kabupaten Muara Enim apresiasi kepada kepada kafilah yang telah mengikuti ajang MTQ ini.
” Atas nama Pemkab Muara Enim , Saya ucapkan selamat kepada para juara dan yang belum juara.Hakikat sebenarnya dari pekan MTQ ini adalah mempererat ajang silaturahim dan ibadah dalam menyiarkan kalam ilahi serta menggairahkan masyarakat untuk mempelajari Al Quran sebagai pedoman hidup.
Bagi yang juara agar kiranya tetap berlatih untuk peningkatan dalam mempersiapkan diri mewakili kabupaten Muara Enim pada event berikutnya ” Harap Emran.
Pada kesempatan itu juga sebelum melakukan pemukulan bedug sebagai tanda berakhirnya pekan MTQ tersebut , Pj Sekda Emran juga tak lupa mengucapkan terima kasih kepada segenap Panitia dan warga gelumbang pada umumnya.
” Terima kasih kepada Forkopimcam dan warga Gelumbang pada umumnya , jadikan Pekan MTQ ini sebagai motivasi dan sampai jumpa pada pekan MTQ ke 38 tingkat Kabupaten Muara Enim yang Insya Allah akan diselenggarakan di kecamatan Empat Petulai Dangku ” Pungkas Emran.
