Dalam pasal Pasal 154A pemutusan hubungan kerja dapat terjadi karena alasan:

c. perusahaan tutup yang disebabkan karena perusahaan mengalami kerugian;
d. perusahaan tutup yang disebabkan karena keadaan memaksa (forcemajeur).
e. perusahaan dalam keadaan penundaan kewajiban pembayaran utang;
f. perusahaan pailit :
g. perusahaan melakukan perbuatan yang merugikan pekerja/buruh;
h. pekerja/buruh mengundurkan diri atas kemauan sendiri :
i. pekerja/buruh mangkir :
j. pekerja/buruh melakukan pelanggaran ketentuan yang diatur dalam perjanjian kerja, peraturan perusahaan,
atau perjanjian kerja bersama :
k. pekerja/buruh ditahan pihak yang berwajib :
l. pekerja/buruh mengalami sakit berkepanjangan atau cacat akibat kecelakaan kerja dan tidak dapat melakukan pekerjaannya setelahmelampaui batas 12 (dua belas) bulan :
m. pekerja/buruh memasuki usia pensiun : atau
n. pekerja/buruh meninggal dunia.
Namun, dapat dipastikan di dalam Pasal 156 tertuang :��”
