*Kepala Bappenas : Pengembangan Informasi Geospasial Sebagai Percepatan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan*

Menteri Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (PPN)/Kepala Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa menghadiri acara Seminar Nasional Geomatika 2020 dengan tema Informasi Geospasial untuk Inovasi Percepatan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG), pada Hari Kamis, 15 Oktober 2020.

Dalam kesempatan ini, Menteri memberikan apresiasi yang sebesar-besarnya terhadap kinerja dari BIG dalam percepatan pembangunan berkelanjutan, yakni telah menjadi penyedia peta dasar yang menjadi acuan bagi perencanaan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

“Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG) secara konsisten terus bekerjasama dengan Bappenas dan Kementerian/Lembaga dan Pemerintah daerah dalam menyediakan data spasial yang mendukung inovasi percepatan pembangunan berkelanjutan khususnya untuk mendukung perencanaan pembangunan dengan pendekatan Tematik, Holistik, Integratif, dan Spasial (THIS).

Dukungan BIG akan mendukung tercapainya sasaran pembangunan nasional yang tertuang dalam dokumen Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) 2020-2024,” ungkap Menteri.

BIG telah membantu dalam penyusunan peta dasar skala 1:5000 seperti yang tertuang dalam RPJMN 2020 -2024. Menteri juga memaparkan manfaat dari peta dasar ini dalam pembangunan, yang pertama, peta dasar skala 1:5000 merupakan sumber data utama dalam penyusunan Rencana Detil Tata Ruang (RDTR) uang digunakan utuk proses perijinan melalui Online Single Submission (OSS).

“Kedua, dengan adanya peta skala besar, akan meningkatkan kemampuan Pemerintah dalam melakukan tanggap darurat maupun rehabilitasi dan rekonstruksi pasca bencana alam.

Selain kedua hal tersebut, tentu masih banyak manfaat lain dari tersedianya peta dasar skala besar,” ujar Menteri.

Pengesahan Undang-undang Cipta Kerja juga mempengaruhi kandungan informasi goespasial pada peta dasar (RBI) yang tertuang dalam UU 4 Tahun 2011 tentang Informasi Geospasial.

Selain itu, dampak lain pada tenaga professional bidang Informasi Geospasial yang harus lebih professional khusus bidang IG menjadi tantangan kedepan yang perlu dihadapi.

Menteri Suharso juga menambahkan bahwa dalam menghadapi tantangan tersebut, perlu adanya perbaikan kualitas dan kuantitas seperti sumber daya manusia yang perlu terus mengembangkan diri agar mampu menguasai teknologi terkini.

Sedangkan perbaikan kualitas informasi geospasial tematik meliputi standar, geoferensi, dan keakuratan data harus terus dilakukan untuk mendukung pelaksanaan Kebijakan Satu Peta dan Satu Data Indonesia.

“Yang tidak kalah penting, adalah peningkatan kapasitas simpul jaringan terutama di tingkat Kabupaten/Kota, mengingat masih bervariasinya kompetensi maupun dukungan infrastruktur Informasi Geospasial yang ada di tiap Kabupaten/Kota di Indonesia,” tutup Menteri. (Red/Aj)
