Di Tengah Momentum Sumpah Pemuda, Audy Joinaldy Jejakkan Kaki di Rumah Sidang PDRI Silantai Sumpur Kudus

Sijunjung, BeritaTerkini.co.id – Ditengah momentum Sumpah Pemuda, Wakil Gubernur (Cawagub) Sumatera Barat (Sumbar), Audy Joinaldy menapakan kaki di Bangunan Cagar Budaya Rumah Sidang Pemerintah Darurat Republik Indonesia (PDRI), di Nagari Silantai, Kecamatan Sumpur Kudus, Kabupaten Sijunjung, Sumatera Barat, Jum’at (30/10/20).

Ditemani oleh Calon Bupati Sijunjung, Hendri Susanto, Audy Joinaldy melihat isi rumah yang beratap Banda Sembilan dari bahan seng tersebut. Rumah berbahan kayu ini merupakan saksi bisu Pertemuan Musyawarah Besar PDRI yang berlangsung dari 14 sampai 17 Mei 1949 yang dipimpin oleh Ketua PDRI, Sjafaruddin Prawiranegara. Terletak di pelosok batas timur Sumatera Barat, lokasi ini dipilih karena lebih aman dari sergapan Belanda.

Rumah bercat krem ini menyimpan beberapa peninggalan sejarah dari PDRI seperti piagam penghargaan, dokumentasi kegiatan, dan koleksi buku sejarah PDRI. Dengan penuh rasa ingin tahu, Audy memperhatikan tiap piagam dan foto yang tergantung di tembok kayu tersebut.

Sembari memegang buku sejarah PDRI, Audy mengatakan Sumpur Kudus menyimpan bukti sejarah perjuangan bangsa yang juga memiliki potensi wisata alam nan indah.

“Sumpur Kudus merupakan bagian dari sejarah yang tertinggal kan. Untuk sampai kesini kita melewati pemandangan luas biasa seperti lembah dan gunung yang indah,” ungkap Audy.

Disisi lain, Hendri berpesan kepada seluruh pemuda agar menghormati jasa perjuangan para pahlawan dan siap menjadi penerus bangsa.

“Mudah-mudahan jasa para pahlawan yang telah mengorbankan harta waktunya demi kemerdekaan selaku ktia yang muda siap mengisi kebangkitan Indonesia ke depannya,” tegas Hendri. (Rel)
