BANDAR LAMPUNG, WWW.BERITATERKINI.co.id- Polda Lampung, melalui Sub Direktorat (Subdit) Kamsus IPTU Dony Oktarizal, SH melakukan kunjungan dalam rangka silaturahmi ke Pondok Pesantren (Ponpes) Riyadus Sholihin yang beralamat di Kelurahan Kedamaian, Kecamatan kedamaian, Kota Bandar Lampung, Kamis (21/1/2021).

Dalam kunjungan tersebut, IPTU Dony Oktarizal, SH disambut langsung oleh pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Riyadus Sholihin, H. Ismail Zulkarnain.

Melalui kesempatan silaturahmi ini, H. Ismail Zulkarnain yang juga sebagai tokoh agama di Kota Tapis Berseri mengajak Ponpes yang ada di Provinsi Lampung untuk terus meningkatkan prestasi terhadap anak yatim binaannya agar Ponpes menjadi pusat tempat mendidik anak-anak dalam meningkatkan iman dan membangun potensi umat yang taqwa.

Sebagai Ketua Forum Komunikasi Pondok Pesantren (FKPP) Kota Bandar Lampung, H. Ismail Zulkarnain juga mengajak kepada seluruh pengelola Pondok Pesantren dalam menghadapi situasi bencana Nasional yaitu pandemi Covid-19 untuk dapat terus menerapkan protokol kesehatan Covid-19. “Dengan menjaga kesehatan dan mematuhi imbauan serta peraturan Pemerintah diharapkan agar para santri tetap dalam keadaaan sehat”, tutur H. Ismail.

“Kewajiban umat muslim adalah menyantuni dan membahagiakan anak yatim agar dapat mandiri. Oleh karena itu, pengurus Ponpes diharapkan dapat menggali potensi mereka dalam ilmu mengaji, menghafal Al-Qur’an, ceramah, bela diri, sampai kejenjang pendidikan Perguruan Tinggi dan meraih prestasi sebagai juara seperti beberapa santri yang telah berhasil menjadi siswa di Sekolah-sekolah ternama”, kata Abah Ismail sapaan akrab para Santri.

Dalam kesempatan itu juga, sosok ulama yang dikenal sangat menyayangi dan dekat dengan para santri berharap agar seluruh umat tetap menjaga persatuan.

“Umat Islam jangan mau dipecah belah dengan isue-isue yang tidak bertanggungjawab, Indonesia sebagai negara Kesatuan yang beragam perbedaanya dan disatukan, senantiasa menjaga persatuan NRI dan mendukung kebijakan Pemerintah dengan konstitusinya”, demikian ungkap Ketua FKPP Kota Bandar Lampung, H. Ismail Zulkarnain. (*)
