Hal ini guna memastikan kesiapan pengamanan Operasi Keselamatan Lalu Lintas dan Operasi Ketupat tahun 2021 serta mendukung kegiatan operasional harian.
”Kami ingin melihat perawatan kendaraan yang dilakukan oleh anggota. Apa benar perawatannya atau tidak. Ini penting karena untuk mendukung tugas kami,” ucap Kapolres Banyuasin AKBP Imam Turmudi SIK,SH MH., Minggu (25/04/2021)
Satu per satu kendaraan roda dua milik Polres Banyuasin maupun Polsek jajaran diperiksa oleh Kapolres Banyuasin.
Pengecekan kendaraan difokuskan pada kelengkapan kendaraan. Semua kendaraan dinyalakan untuk mengatahui kondisi dan performa mesinnya.
Puluhan Ranmor operasional, mulai dari mobil patroli dan ranmor roda dua berderet memenuhi Lapangan Polres Banyuasin.
Kapolres memeriksa sejumlah mesin ranmor operasional, termasuk kelengkapan surat-surat kendaraan dan surat izin anggota yang menjalankannya.
Kapolres Banyuasin AKBP Imam turmudi, S.I.K.,SH MH mengatakan, kegiatan Operasi Keselamatan Lalu Lintas dan Operasi Ketupat tahun 2021 pada masa Covid-19 menjadi tantangan, sehingga bukan hanya pengamanan secara kamtibmas serta siaga Karhutlah, namun pengamanan diri cegah penyebaran Covid-19 dengan menerapkan Protokol Kesehatan menjalankan 5M seperti mencuci tangan, memakai masker, menjaga jarak, menghindari kerumunan dan mengurangi mobilitas, harus tetap dilaksanakan guna mencegah dan pengendalian Covid-19,” baik dalam melaksanakan aktifitas sehari atau pun dalam ibadah taraweh ucapnya.
