Enam Polda Jadi Prioritas Tangani Karhutla

Jakarta.Beritaterkini.com.Sebanyak enam kepolisian daerah (Polda) menjadi prioritas Polri dalam mencegah dan melakukan penindakan hukum tindak pidana kebakaran hutan dan lahan (karhutla).

“Ada 6 polda prioritas, seperti Riau, Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Timur, Kalimantan Tengah dan juga Sumatera Selatan,” kata Kepala Divisi Humas Polri Irjen Pol Argo Yuwono usai penandatanganan surat keputusan bersama tentang penegakan hukum Karhutla di Mabes Polri, Jakarta, Kamis (6/5).

Argo mengatakan ada koordinasi dan komunikasi di tingkat Mabes Polri dan keenam polda serta jajaran bagaimana upaya mencegah terjadinya karhutla.

Seperti di tahun 2019 dan 2020 jumlah kasus kebakaran hutan baik dari segi jumlah titik api dan luas area yang terbakar turun mencapai 81 persen.

“Tentunya di sana selain dari Mabes Polri ada komunikasi, koordinasi dengan instansi terkait, di tingkat polda juga ada koordinasi bagaimana pencegahan di sana,” tutur Argo.

Adanya penurunan titik api dari tahun 2019 dan 2020, lanjut Argo, yang pertama dilakukan adalah melengkapi peralatan untuk memantau percikan api, sehingga api dapat cepat dikendalikan.

Selain itu juga, ada kreasi berupa aplikasi yang dibuat oleh polda bersama instansi terkait dalam upaya penanggulangan kebakaran hutan dan lahan. Seperti aplikasi LembuSwarna di Polda Kalimantan Tengah atau Lancang Kuning di Polda Riau.

“Ada beberapa kreasi juga di polda bersama instansi terkait bagaimana memadamkan secepatnya titik api itu jangan sampai meluas,” ucap Argo.

Terkait penegakan hukum Karhutla, lanjut Argo, antara Polri dengan kejaksaan, setelah kepolisian melakukan penyelidikan dan penyidikan, Polri akan berkoordinasi dengan kejaksaan, terkait dengan saksi ahli yang dilibatkan, terkait juga dengan petunjuk yang lain.

“Kami komunikasikan, kami koordinasikan dengan kejaksaan sehingga tidak ada bolak balik berkas perkara,” ujarnya.

Upaya pencegahan dan penegakan hukum secara terpadu ini, kata Argo, sesuai dengan instruksi presiden, dengan harapan tidak ada lagi komplain dari negara tetangga terkait asap yang disebabkan oleh kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Indonesia.

“Dengan adanya kegiatan bersama secara terpadu ini kita meminimalisasi, seperti saat ini kita ketahui bersama kejadian kathutla sangat minim, tidak ada komplain dari negara tetangga seperti waktu tahun 2015,” ujarnya.

Selain itu, harapan lainnya dalam keterpaduan antara Polri, Kejaksaan Agung dan KLHK dalam mencegah dan penegakkan hukum tindak pidana karhutla adalah kesadaran masyarakat untuk menjaga hutan demi masa depan generasi berikutnya.

“Kita berharap masyarakat sadar akan hutan, bahwa hutan merupakan sumber air yang kita dijaga bersama, jangan sampai dibuat untuk hal-hal yang merusak lingkungan walau motif ekonomi atau apapun, ini harus kita jaga jangan sampai nanti anak cucu kita yang menanggung,” ujar Argo.
