Bogor, Beritaterkini.co.id– Hadiah yang sangat dinanti bagi Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan umat Budha Lapas Khusus Kelas IIA Gunung Sindur, dengan adanya remisi atau pengurangan masa hukuman, Rabu, (26/05/2021).
Kepala Lapas Khusus Kelas IIA Gunung Sindu, Mujiarto, menyebutkan sebanyak 7 orang warga binaan atau narapidana yang beragama Buddha mendapatkan remisi Hari Raya Waisak 2021.
“Mereka mendapat remisi khusus pengurangan sebagian (RK I) dengan potongan masa hukuman bervariasi mulai dari 1 Bulan 15 hari sebanyak 5 orang dan 2 bulan sebanyak 2 orang. kata Muji saat Upacara Pemberian Remisi Waisak.
Muji menambahkan, jumlah warga binaan yang beragam Budha berjumlah 12 orang, yang dapat remisi 7 orang, jadi yang tidak mendapatkan remisi 5 orang.
“Seusai penyerahan remisi, WBP umat Budha melangsungkan Ibadah Perayaan Hari Raya Waisak bertempat di Vihara Bodisatva Nagajurna yang ada di area dalam Lapas Khusus Kelas IIA Gunung Sindur, dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan”.
