Kotapinang, Beritaterkini.co.id- Pada hari Jumat tanggal 28 Mei 2021, Seorang Narapidana melakukan percobaan melarikan diri dari Lapas Kelas III Kotapinang.

Pelarian terjadi pada Jumat, 28 mei 2021 pk. 13.00 WIB  dilakukan oleh Narapidana Atas Nama Jeki Sitorus . Umur 37 tahun Perkara Pencurian.

Kronologi Pelarian dilakukan dengan memanjat tembok dengan menggunakan tong sampah, dan langsung naik ke atas seng bangunan dapur Lapas .Bangunan dapur yang rapat dengan Tembok Lapas dapat dengan mudah dijangkau oleh narapidana untuk melakukan pelarian yang merupakan salah satu titik rawan di Lapas Kelas III Kotapinang.

Setelah narapidana tersebut berhasil melarikan diri, kemudian dengan cepat regu jaga melakukan koordinasi dengan Kalapas, dan Kalapas segera melakukan Sinergi dengan Polsek – Polsek yang ada di Labuhanbatu Selatan sembari Kasubsi Kamtib dan regu jaga dan dibantu dengan staf melakukan pencarian terhadap Narapidana yang melarikan diri tersebut.

Kalapas Kotapinang menghubungi Kanit Polsek Torgamba, dan dengan cepat Kanit Polsek Torgamba mengerahkan anggotanya untuk melakukan pencarian. Sekitar pukul 14.00 WIB, Narapidana tersebut sudah sampai di Torgamba menggunakan angkutan umum, dan hendak melarikan diri ke arah perkebunan sawit, dan dengan cepat Petugas Polsek Torgamba menangkap dan mengamankan Narapidana tersebut.

Setelah pihak Lapas Kotapinang mendapatkan kabar dari Petugas Polsek Torgamba, Kalapas Kotapinang langsung menjemput Narapidana tersebut ke Polsek Torgamba dan pada pukul 15.00 WIB, selanjutnya Narapidana tersebut diserahkan oleh pihak Polsek Torgamba kepada pihak Lapas Kelas III Kotapinang,dan pihak Lapas langsung membawa kembali Narapidana yang melarikan diri tersebut ke Lapas Kelas III Kotapinang.
