Beritaterkini.co.id. Setelah sukses dalam menggelar World Surfing League (WSL), Pemkab Banyuwangi kembali menggelar event sport turism pada bulan Juni 2022. Event tersebut akan memanjakan para pecinta tantangan dalam bersepeda, utamanya sepeda gunung, bertajuk “Ijen Erek-erek Enduro 2022” tersebut, diselenggarakan pada 25-26 Juni 2022.
Sekretaris Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga (Dispora) Banyuwangi, M Alfin Kurniawan mengatakan, Ijen Erek – erek Enduro, merupakan event kolaborasi dengan salah satu klub sepeda, Sego Anget Racing Team (SART), yang merupakan salah satu event, dari 9 event sport turism yang diselenggarakan oleh Pemkab Banyuwangi.
“Tahun ini ada 9 event sport turims yang akan kami selenggarakan, yang lokasinya berada di destinasi-destinasi wisata, sehingga bisa dijadikan sebagai ajang promosi pariwisata, salah satunya Ijen Erek – erek Enduro ini,” ungkap Alvin.
Event Ijen Erek – erek Enduro 2022, terbagi menjadi 9 kategori berdasarkan umur para peserta, mulai Youth (dibawah 16 tahun) hingga Master C (51 tahun keatas) dan khusus untuk perempuan hanya ada satu kategori yakni Women Open.
Sementara itu Ketua Harian ISSI Banyuwangi, Munif mengatakan, kompetisi olahraga sepeda yang diselenggrakan pada 25-26 Juni 2022, di lereng Gunung Ijen, tepatnya di Erek – erek, akan mengikuti regulasi lomba dari Pengurus Besar Ikatan Sepeda Sport Indonesia (ISSI) dan Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), Federasi Balap Sepeda Dunia.
“Regulasinya mengacu sesuai aturan ISSI, dan commisairenya juga ditunjuk langsung oleh PB ISSI, untuk memastikan pelaksanaan lombanya sesuai regulasi,” jelas Munif.
Selain itu pagelaran Ijen Erek – Erek Enduro 2022, dilaksankan untuk mendukung perkembangan olahraga nasional khususnya cabang balap sepeda gunung Downhill dan Enduro.

ijen Bayuwangi menyabet podium 2 di kelas master C.
