Petugas P2U Rutan Masamba Berhasil Melakukan Upaya Penggagalan Penyelundupan Narkotika Jenis Sabu Kedalam Rutan

Sul-sel, Beritaterkini.co.id- Penanggulangan narkoba dibutuhkan usaha yang komperhensif, karena peredaran dan penyelundupan narkoba merupakan bibit masalah besar bagi penerus bangsa. Penggagalan Upaya Penyeludupan Narkoba khususnya dilakukan dalam wilayah Rutan Masamba yang dilakukan oleh Petugas P2U, Senin (16/08/2021).

Kegiatan yang dilakukan pada senin pagi sebagai upaya pencegahan penyelundupan narkoba. Pasalnya sebuah kejadian berawal dari sekitar pukul 10.40 WITA terdapat seseorang pengunjung menitipkan bungkusan yang berisi sayur sawi dengan menggunakan kantongan plastik warna hitam.

Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan oleh petugas atas barang yang dibawa, diduga terdapat narkotika jenis sabu terbungkus plastik. Selanjutnya Petugas P2U melaporkan kepada Plh. Ka KPR dan Kepala Rutan Masamba terkait peristiwa tersebut dengan membawa sayur sawi dalam kantong yang diduga terdapat narkoba jenis sabu.

Berkoordinasi dengan pihak terkait, dalam hal ini Kepala Kepolisian Resort Luwu Utara cq. Satuan Narkoba Polres Luwu Utara akan melakukan tindakan lanjutan terhadap barang temuan tersebut.

Selanjutnya, peristiwa penggagalan penyeludupan narkoba jenis sabu ini telah dilaporkan kepada Bapak Kepala Kanwil Kemenkumham Sulawesi Selatan melalui Kepala Divisi Pemasyarakatan dan Dirkamtib Ditjenpas.

Setelah dilakukannya tindakan atas dugaan penyelundupan narkoba, situasi Rutan Kelas IIB Masamba kembali berjalan dengan tertib, aman, dan lancar.
