Bandung, Beritaterkini.co.id- Sebanyak 73 warga binaan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Kelas 1 A Sukamiskin Bandung mendapatkan remisi kemerdekaan pada peringatan HUT Ke-76 RI. Dari 73 warga binaan tersebut, 17 diantaranya merupakan warga binaan dan mantan pejabat yang terjerat kasus korupsi.

Warga binaan yang mendapatkan Remisi telah melalui tahapan pemenuhan persyaratan sesuai dengan aturan perundang undangan yang berlaku.

Hal unik dan diapresiasi berbagai pihak adalah tatkala Kalapas Sukamiskin, Drs. Elly Yuzar bersama seluruh pejabat dan staf dengan semangat Peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan melaksanakan penanaman pohon durian dilingkungan lapas seusai mengikuti Upacara Peringatan HUT Kemerdekaan RI Ke 76.

Jenis pohon durian yang ditanam oleh Kalapas dan jajaran adalah Pohon durian varietas musang king berjumlah 100 pohon. Pohon ini diprediksi berbuah ketika pohon berusia 3 s.d 4 tahun.

Menurut Kalapas manfaat menanam Pohon Durian selain buah yang bisa dipetik dan dinikmati oleh penggemar buah ini, juga bisa bermanfaat bagi kelangsungan makhluk hidup terutama terutama sebagai paru paru kota dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas udara di kota bandung.

Pihaknya bertekad akan menghijaukan Lapas Kelas 1 Sukamiskin dengan pohon durian dan berharap petugas Lapas mampu merawatnya hingga tumbuh berkembang dengan baik sehingga dapat berbuah dengan sempurna ( Red )
