Palembang, Berita Terkini .Co. Id Suara Informasi Rakyat Sriwijaya (SIRA) menggelar aksi demonstrasi di halaman Kantor Walikota Palembang,meminta Walikota dalam melakukan pengajuan program yang prioritas yang pro rakyat, Selasa (12/10).
Mereka meminta Walikota Palembang untuk lebih memprioritaskan progam-program kerakyatan untuk membangkitkan ekonomi masyarakat pasca pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda hampir seluruh negeri dan menunda pengaanggaran penundaan kantor Walikota Palembang.
“Kami meminta supaya di tahun 2022 nanti, Walikota Palembang membuat kebijakan-kebijakan untuk memprioritaskan program-program kerakyatan, demi membangkitkan ekonomi masyarakat, sehingga mampu memulihkan ekonomi masyarakat dan menekan angka kemiskinan di Kota Palembang pasca transisi Covid-19,” kata Rachmat Hidayat, Koodinator Lapangan dalam orasinya.
Mereka juga meminta Walikota Palembang untuk menanggulangi dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh pandemi Covid-19, terutama dibidang ekonomi masyarakat.
“Pada masa pandemi Covid-19 angka kemiskinan yang terjadi di Kota Palembang cenderung meningkat. Hal ini diduga disebabkan adanya PHK besar-besaran dari berbagai sektor perusahaan yang merugi dan mengalami penurunan omset akibat pandemi,” katanya
Untuk itu pihaknya juga mengajak dan meminta Walikota Palembang untuk menandatangi kesepakatan, bahwa di tahun 2022 akan mengalokasikan APBD memprioritaskan program kerakyatan dan menunda program-program yang tidak begitu urgent seperti infrastruktur, pembangunan dan lain-lain sampai angka kemiskinan di Kota Palembang menurun.
“Sebab dampak paling parah yang ditimbulkan oleh serangan Covid-19 adalah lumpuhnya perekonomian masyarakat, meningkatnya angka kemiskinan serta bertambahnya tingkat kriminalitas di Kota Palembang,” kata Rachmat.
Massa aksi dari SIRA yang menyampaikan aspirasinya ini diterima oleh Asisten III Bidang Administrasi Umum Sekretariat Daerah (Setda) Kota Palembang Agus Kelana. “Terimakasih atas kehadiran teman-teman semua dari SIRA yang berkomitmen untuk memperjuangkan hak-hak rakyat,” pungkasnya.(DN/RZP)
