Ipat yang juga Ketua Umum Pengcab Tarung Derajat Kabupaten Jembrana, menggantungkan harapan besar agar olahraga Tarung Derajat mampu berkembang dan memberikan kebanggaan bagi Kabupaten Jembrana.
“Ke depan kami harus bangkit dan ingin sekali menyumbangkan emas dalam kejuaraan untuk Jembrana,” ucap Ipat usai menerima audensi dari pengurus cabang (PC) Tarung Derajat Kabupaten Jembrana di Rumah Jabatan Bupati Jembrana, Sabtu (2/4/2022).
Turut dibahas rencana kerja Pengcab Tarung Derajat Kabupaten Jembrana dan kesiapan atlit Tarung Derajat Jembrana mengikuti event event selanjutnya .
Untuk menghadapi kejurda sendiri, Tarung Derajat Jembrana siap menerjunkan 9 orang petarung dalam perhelatan itu. Rinciannya 7 atlet laki-laki dan 2 Atlet perempuan.
Ipat menginstruksikan kepada seluruh pengurus untuk dapat mengembangkan serta meningkatkan prestasi Tarung Derajat.
Menurutnya , olahraga Tarung Derajat sangat perlu dikenalkan kepada masyarakat sehingga lebih populer dan diminati .
Salah satunya melalui media sosial. Dalam catatannya, juga perlu latihan di tempat-tempat umum seperti lapangan atau gedung olahraga.
Sementara I Made Oka Semarajaya selaku Ketua Harian Pengcab Tarung Derajat Jembrana mengatakan akan melakukan pendataan kembali para atlit dan pelatih serta merekrut calon-calon petarung.
“Untuk Tarung Derajat di Jembrana karena masih kekurangan atlit, oleh karena itu mulai pencarian bibit atlit dan merekrut kembali pelatih lama,” ujar Made Oka.
Harapan besar juga digantung kepada Tarung Derajat Jembrana, bagaimana olahraga ini mampu berkembang dan memberikan kebanggaan bagi Kabupaten Jembrana.
“Ke depan kami harus bangkit dan ingin sekali menyumbangkan emas dalam kejuaraan untuk Jembrana. Untuk Kejurda , kita target dua emas berhasil diraih,” tutupnya.(tia)
