Informasi ini diperoleh dari Ketua Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Perguruan Al Azhar Medan TA 2022-2023, Dr. Muhammedi, M.Pd.I yang ditemui di kantornya di Jl. Pintu Air IV No. 214 Kwala Bekala Medan Johor, Jumat (28/4/2022).

“Perguruan Al-Azhar Medan memiliki Unit PG/TK-SLB-SD-SMP-SMA yang seluruhnya lulus Program Sekolah Penggerak Kemendikbud-Ristek RI. Pencapaian ini menjadi prestasi yang sangat membanggakan bagi kami. Ini menjadikan Perguruan Al Azhar Medan satu-satunya Perguruan di Sumatera Utara yang seluruh unitnya lulus dalam Program Sekolah Penggerak”, ungkap Kepsek bergelar doktor ini.

Keberhasilan ini didukung oleh fakta dimana seluruh unit yang ada di Perguruan Al Azhar Medan memiliki guru yang berpengalaman. Kurikulum two in one (100% Kemendikbud & 100% Kemenag) dan ditambah dengan Kurikulum Cambridge. Memiliki Program Reguler, Plus, Billingual, Akselerasi & Tahfiz. Dalam kesempatan wawancara kepada awak media, beliau menyampaikan bahwa kita sangat bersyukur kepada Allah SWT seluruh unit yang ada di Perguruan Al Azhar Medan berhasil lulus Program Sekolah Penggerak.

“Alhamdulillah pencapaian ini juga didukung dengan siswa dan siswi yang berprestasi di berbagai bidang seperti Matematika, IPA, Sepatu Roda, Sempoa, Bahasa Inggris, Tahfiz, Paskibra dan lain-lain. Saat ini Perguruan Al Azhar Medan sudah membuka penerimaan peserta didik baru. Mari bergabung dengan Perguruan Al Azhar Medan”, ungkap Pembina Yayasan.

Ketua Yayasan Hj. Rachmah Nasution Ir. Hj. Riza Novida juga sangat mengapresiasi pencapaian ini.

Program Sekolah Penggerak adalah upaya untuk mewujudkan visi Pendidikan Indonesia dalam mewujudkan Indonesia maju yang berdaulat, mandiri, dan berkepribadian melalui terciptanya Pelajar Pancasila.

Program Sekolah Penggerak berfokus pada pengembangan hasil belajar siswa secara holistik yang mencakup kompetensi (literasi dan numerasi) dan karakter, diawali dengan SDM yang unggul (kepala sekolah dan guru).

Program Sekolah Penggerak merupakan penyempurnaan program transformasi sekolah sebelumnya. Program Sekolah Penggerak akan mengakselerasi sekolah negeri/swasta di seluruh kondisi sekolah untuk bergerak 1-2 tahap lebih maju. Program dilakukan bertahap dan terintegrasi dengan ekosistem hingga seluruh sekolah di Indonesia menjadi Program Sekolah Penggerak.
