Kajati Bali Ade T Sutiawarman Hadiri Penutupan FGD On Extradition in Indonesia dan Sosialisasi Peraturan Kejaksaan Tentang Ekstradisi

Kejaksaan Tinggi Bali, Ade T Sutiawarman, menghadiri Penutupan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) On Extradition in Indonesia dan Sosialisasi Peraturan Kejaksaan No. 006 Tahun 2018 tentang Pedoman Penanganan Ekstradisi yang dilakasanakan pada tgl 13-14 Juni 2022 bertempat di Hotel Mulia Nusa Dua.

Adapun FGD ini diselenggarakan oleh The United States Department of Justice Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development Assitance and Training (USDOJ OPDAT) dan Kejaksaan Agung RI

Kajati Bali dalam sambutannya, menyambut baik terbitnya Peraturan Agung Ekstradisi ini, karena Perja ini akan sangat membantu para Jaksa dalam melaksanakan tugas di lapangan dalam penanganan perkara ekstradisi.

Perja ini juga berisi referensi dan petunjuk yang menjelaskan tentang prosedur apa saja yang harus dilakukan oleh Para Jaksa ketika menangani perkara ekstradisi.

Dalam Perja ini juga tercakup persyaratannya apa saja yang dipelurkan ketika Jaksa Indonesia mengajukan permintaan ekstradisi kepada negara lain.

Sehingga kedepannya, Para jaksa tidak perlu ragu jika ada penanganan perkara yang memerlukan metode ekstradisi.

Dengan kegiatan Sosialisasi seperti ini, merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan mutu Jaksa Penuntut Umum dalam melaksanakan otoritasnya dalam upaya mewujudkannya penegakan hukum dan keadilan di tanah air.

Harapannya para Jaksa mampu mengimplementasikan dan menangani perkara ekstradisi secara baik dan optimal.

Adapun Materi yang di bahas dalam On Extradition in Indonesia dan Sosialisasi Peraturan Kejaksaan No. 006 Tahun 2018 tentang Pedoman Penanganan Ekstradisi tentang prosedur dan proses pelaksanaan ekstradisi di Indonesia, perlunya perhatian serius dalam penanganan proses ekstradisi, bagaimana tata cara permintaan ekstradisi baik outgoing maupun incoming, Administrasi yg perlu diketahui Dalam pelaksanaan ekstradisi.(red /kur)
