Jakarta, Beritaterkini.co.id- Mantan Penyidik Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) Ajun Komisaris Polisi (AKP) Stepanus Robin Pattuju memprotes tuntutan dari jaksa KPK menuntut 12 tahun penjara terhadap Stepanus Robin. Robin juga harus membayar denda sebesar Rp 500 juta subsider enam bulan kurungan.
Protes itu termuat dalam nota pembelaan yang dibacakanya di Pengadilan Tipikor Jakarta, Senin (20/12/2021).
Robin menyesali perbuatanya dan memohon maaf kepada seluruh pihak yang dirugikan termasuk salah satunya adalah Walikota Cimahi Non Aktif Ajay M Priatna.
“Saya hanya melakukan penipuan dengan memanfaatkan jabatan saya sebagai penyidik KPK dan saya sama sekali tidak memiliki kewenangan terkait kasus-kasus dalam perkara ini, yaitu yang melibatkan M Syahrial, M Azis Syamsuddin dan Aliza Gunado, Ajay M Priatna, Usman Effendy, dan Rita Widyasari,” ujar Robin.
Dalam pledoi terungkap Robin dan Ajay bertemu pada sekitar pertengahan oktober 2020, Pembicaraan keduanya terkait penyelidikan KPK di Bandung Barat terkait kasus bansos di Kabupaten Bandung Barat,
Robin sebenarnya tidak mengetahui kebenarannya, robin hanya mengingatkan kepada Ajay untuk berhati-hati dan tidak bermain proyek APBD di Kota Cimahi,
Setelah itu Robin mengaku berdiskusi dengan saudara Masukur Husaien via telpon, Robin bersepakat dengan Maskur Musa untuk meminta sejumlah uang dan disanggupi oleh Ajay Priatna,
Setelah menerima uang dari Ajay, saudara Robin tidak melakukan upaya apapun karena sesungguhnya Robin tidak mengetahui kasus tersebut dan Robin mengaku bukan bagian dari satgas penyelidikan kasus tersebut.
Dalam salah satu penggalan pledoinya bahwa kaitan penerimaan uang dari Wali Kota Non Aktif itu dirinya hanya memanfaatkan statusnya sebagai pegawai KPK, fakta yang sebenarnya adalah dirinya sama sekali tidak memiliki kewenangan dan bukan merupakan tim penyidik dari Kasus bansos ( Red )
