Palembang- Berita Terkini.Co.Id Rakerda ke VII REI Sumsel dengan tema “Peran serta REI dalam mengatasi Backlog Perumahan di Sumsel”, di hadiri oleh
Gubernur Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel) H Herman Deru bertempat di Hotel Novotel Palembang, pada Rabu (24/5/2023).
“Kita tau Sumsel kurang terhadap Backlog itu masih sekitar 400 ribu. Kalau kita hanya berharap dari perorangan itu membangun sendiri kapan selesai sedangkan pertumbuhan masyarakat terus bertambah jumlah banyak, maka kita harap REI dibantu oleh Developer akan mempersempit itu,” ujar Herman Deru.
Untuk itu, Herman Deru ingin melalui Rakerda ke VII REI ini harus membuahkan hasil yang tidak hanya melahirkan rekomendasi-rekomendasi yang bersifat internal tapi harus menjadi per izin bagi pemerintah atupun konsumen.
Herman Deru mengataka, backlog di Sumsel cukup tinggi. Begitu banyak inovasi dan improvisasi dari pemerintah pusat dan DPP REI untuk dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan rumah ini, bahkan sampai tadi ada bank tanah.
Namun menurut Herman Deru REI sudah cukup matang untuk menghadapi fluktuasi yang sangat dinamis seperti ekonomi dan stabilitas politik. Apalagi baru saja melewati dari Covid-19 dimana saat ini masa pandemi menuju endemi.
Herman Deru mengajak REI agar setiap perumahan untuk diajak menanam komoditas yang mempengaruhi inflasi seperti cabe, tomat dan lainnya. Hal ini juga untuk merubah mindset tadinya membeli menjadi penghasil.
Sementara itu, Ketua DPD REI Sumsel, Zewwy Salim mengatakan Rakerda ke VII REI merupakan agenda tahunan. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini dapat mengeluarkan pokok-pokok pikiran dalam kontribusi pembangunan daerah Sumsel khususnya Nasional.
Zewwy Salim menyebut, sampai saat ini DPD REI memiliki kurang lebih 350 anggota yang tersebar di 17 Kabupaten/Kota.
“Artinya setiap peningkatan jumlah menandakan itensitas pembangunan di Sumsel meningkat baik yang bersubsidi ataupun komersil,” kata Zewwy Salim
Dia mengatakan, pihaknya siap merespon setiap pembahasan- pembahasan yang terjadi. Sebab hal tersebut merupakan modal dasar bagi REI.
“Selain agenda tahunan tapi juga Rakerda VII ini sebagai evaluasi dalam kinerja ke depan sehingga dapat mengatasi backlog dan memberikan kesejahteraan masyarakat serta peningkatan perekonomian,” katanya.
Zewwy menjelaskan, sesuai tema Rakerda kali ini adalah Peran Serta REI Dalam Mengatasi Bagklog Perumahan di Sumsel.
“Maka kami bersinergi dengan pemerintah. Namun kami ada hambatan seperti keterbatasan lahan, karena harga lahan di palembang semakin tinggi. Kami tidak stop membangun di Palembang tapi ke daerah terutama perbatasan dengan Palembang,” katanya.
Untuk harga rumah bagi Masyarakat Berpenghasilan Rendah (MBR) masih pakai harga Rp 150.500.000. Tadi dijelaskan Sekjen DPP REI sudah ada usulan kenaikan harga.
“Sudah ada di meja Menteri Keuangan, setelah nota ditandatangan maka kami berharap ada kebijakan untuk pengembang ada kenaikan yang diperkirakan kenaikan 5-6 persen,” tuturnya.
“Target kita pembangunan rumah untuk MBR tahun ini 17.000 unit.Dalam pemerataan pembangunan, kita dorong ke anggota agar membangun rumah bersubsidi dan berkualitas,” tuturnya.
Zewwy menuturkan, REI Sumsel mengukir tinta emas karena terbaik di Sumatera.
“Harapan untuk pembangunan perumahan di Sumsel, agar teman teman tidak bosan membangun. Karena pembangunan ini program pusat. Dan kami berharap pemerintah memberikan kebijakan yang ikut berpihak kepada kami,” tandasnya. (RZP)
