Palembang, beritaterkini.co.id -Yudha Pratomo Mahyudin (YPM) secara resmi mengembalikan formulir pendaftaran bakal calon Walikota Palembang untuk periode 2024-2029 ke DPD Partai Nasdem Kota Palembang, yang berlokasi di Jalan Pom IX, pada hari Selasa, 7 Mei 2024.
Yudha, yang juga menjabat sebagai Ketua DPC Partai Demokrat Kota Palembang, menyatakan optimisme tinggi akan diusung oleh Partai Nasdem dalam Pilkada Kota Palembang yang dijadwalkan berlangsung pada November 2024.
Dalam pernyataannya, Yudha mengungkapkan, “Kami optimis diusung oleh Partai Nasdem. Politik itu dinamis, dan meskipun banyak kader terbaik di Nasdem, pengalaman politik saya pada tahun 2018 sebagai calon wakil gubernur mendampingi Pak Ishak telah memberi banyak pelajaran. Hari ini, kami hadir kembali tapi di tingkat Kota Palembang untuk maju menjadi Walikota.”
Lebih lanjut, Yudha yang juga mantan Calon Wakil Gubernur Sumatera Selatan ini menegaskan kesiapannya mengikuti semua mekanisme yang diterapkan oleh Partai Nasdem. Dia berharap untuk bisa berkolaborasi dengan partai tersebut dalam memajukan Kota Palembang.
“Melihat pencapaian Partai Nasdem dalam Pileg terakhir, di mana mereka memperoleh 9 kursi terbanyak di Kota Palembang, kami sangat ingin berkolaborasi untuk memajukan kota ini,” tambah Yudha.
Sementara itu, H Maramis, Ketua Penjaringan DPD Nasdem Kota Palembang, mengomentari pengembalian formulir oleh Yudha. “Alhamdulillah, pengembalian formulir ini menunjukkan keseriusan Yudha. Ini merupakan penghargaan tinggi bagi tim kami. Berkas ini akan kami serahkan ke DPW besok, dan setelah verifikasi oleh DPW, akan diteruskan ke DPP untuk ditetapkan. Yang pasti, dalam proses ini tidak ada mahar,” jelas Maramis.
Keputusan Yudha untuk kembali maju dalam Pilkada Kota Palembang menarik perhatian banyak pihak, mengingat latar belakangnya yang kuat di politik lokal serta pengalaman sebelumnya di tingkat provinsi.
Pengamat politik lokal, Dr. Agus Salim, mengatakan bahwa pencalonan Yudha bisa menjadi game changer dalam dinamika politik Kota Palembang. “Yudha memiliki basis pendukung yang solid dan pengalaman yang cukup untuk memimpin. Kemitraannya yang potensial dengan Nasdem juga menandakan koalisi politik yang kuat untuk Pilkada mendatang,” ucapnya.
Warga Palembang pun tampak antusias dengan kabar ini. Beberapa di antaranya menyatakan dukungan mereka terhadap Yudha, berharap dia dapat membawa perubahan yang positif dan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan untuk kota mereka.
Dengan masih beberapa bulan menjelang pendaftaran resmi dan kampanye, mata publik kini tertuju pada langkah politik Yudha Pratomo Mahyudin selanjutnya, serta strategi yang akan dijalankan oleh Partai Nasdem dalam mengusung kandidatnya di Pilkada Palembang 2024. (Red*)
