Dalam rangka peringati HUT ke-75 TNI AL tahun 2020, Pangkalan TNI Angkatan Laut (Lanal) Banyuwangi, Lantamal V, Koarmada II laksanakan ziarah ke TMP 0032 Wisma Raga Satria Laut, Kamis (10/9/2020).
Dipimpin Komandan Lanal Banyuwangi Letkol Laut (P) Joko Setiyono, S.E., M.Tr.Hanla dengan didampingi Ketua Cabang 6 Korcab V DJA II Ny. Vica Joko Setiyono, ziarah rombongan tersebut diikuti seluruh personil baik perwira, bintara, tamtama, PNS dan pengurus Jalasenastri cabang 6 Lanal Banyuwangi.
Dirangkai dengan penghormatan kepada arwah para pahlawan, mengheningkan cipta, do’a, peletakan karangan bunga oleh Danlanal Banyuwangi, kemudian penghormatan akhir kepada arwah para pahlawan dilanjutkan penaburan bunga di pusara para pahlawan, kegiatan ziarah rombongan ini berbeda dari tahun sebelumnya karena pandemi Covid-19, namun tidak mengurangi kekhidmatan pelaksanaan acara tersebut.
“Ziarah ini memiliki arti penting, kita sebagai generasi penerus wajib menghormati jasa para pahlawan yang telah rela mendarma baktikan jiwa raganya demi bangsa dan negara”. terang Danlanal Banyuwangi.
Danlanal melanjutkan, “Selain itu kita harus dapat mengambil suri tauladan dari semangat juang para pahlawan yang telah gigih berjuang dengan mengorbankan apa saja demi tercapainya kemerdekaan dan tetap tegaknya NKRI, hal ini sebagai bekal untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa yang akan datang”.jelasnya.
