Pemerintah terus mendorong pembangunan infrastruktur digital demi mencapai visi Indonesia 4.0. Salah satu target yang cukup ambisius yaitu pemerintah akan memperluas jangkauan jaringan 4G ke 12.548 desa yang hingga saat ini belum terjangkau 4G, termasuk di daerah terluar, tertinggal dan terdepan (3T).
Hal tersebut disebutkan Menteri Koordinator Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto dalam “Sarasehan Virtual 100 Ekonom” di CNBC Indonesia.
Airlangga mengatakan dari target 12.548 desa tersebut, 9.113 desa berada di wilayah 3T dan 3.435 di wilayah non 3T.
“Pemerintah merencanakan infrastruktur digital, perluasan 4G. Ada 12.548 desa belum terjangkau 4G, ini akan terus didorong, termasuk untuk daerah 3T,” tutur Airlangga.
Selain itu, Airlangga mengatakan pemerintah terus akan mendorong peluncuran Satelit Multifungsi Republik Indonesia atau Satria pada 2023. Satelit Satria ini ditargetkan akan menyambung 150 ribu titik untuk melayani kebutuhan telekomunikasi dan internet di berbagai sektor, baik pemerintah daerah, sekolah, fasilitas kesehatan, kementerian dan lembaga, dan lainnya.
“Pemerintah juga akan membangun Pusat Data Nasional di wilayah Jabodetabek, ibu kota negara, dan Batam,” ujarnya.
Saat ini pemerintah juga tengah mempersiapkan jaringan 5G secara bertahap dan uji coba jaringan 5G akan dilakukan terbatas.
“Untuk pengembangan 5G, rencana spectrum reforming dilakukan secara bertahap dan uji coba implementasi terbatas 5G,” tuturnya.
Airlangga mengatakan transformasi digital ini penting terutama ketika pandemi Covid-19 melanda sejak Maret lalu, ini menjadi momentum bagi percepatan transformasi digital.
Dia menyebutkan populasi pengguna internet hingga 2019 mencapai 180 juta dengan pengguna internet aktif sebesar 150 juta, pengguna layanan online sebanyak 105 juta. Mayoritas atau 32% dari populasi pengguna internet itu merupakan Gen Y yang berusia 20-39 tahun.
Dari total 83.218 desa, jaringan 4G baru menjangkau 84.9% atau 70.670 desa.
Transformasi digital diperlukan sebagai respon terhadap Revolusi Industri dan untuk mentransformasi ekonomi, karena untuk keluar dari middle income trap diperlukan pertumbuhan ekonomi 5,7-6% yang membutuhkan penciptaan lapangan kerja, peningkatan investasi, dan peningkatan produktivitas,” tuturnya.
Dia mengatakan ini juga ditujukan untuk mewujudkan ekonomi digital yang berpotensi mencapai US$ 133 miliar pada 2025 di Indonesia dan US$ 300 miliar di Asia Tenggara.
Ini juga untuk pemulihan ekonomi nasional dan penguat fondasi perekonomian untuk mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan,” ujarnya.(Red/Aj)
