Menjelang peringatan HUT ke-75 TNI pada 5 Oktober mendatang, Gubernur Akademi Angkatan Laut (AAL) Laksamana Muda TNI Edi Sucipto, S.E., M.M. mengikuti Ziarah ke Makam Bung Karno (MBK) di Blitar, Jawa Timur pada Rabu (23/9).
Ziarah ke pusara makam Presiden RI Pertama yang juga Bapak Bangsa ini, menjadi tradisi rutin TNI yang selalu dilaksanakan menjelang peringatan HUT TNI, sebagai wujud penghargaan kepada para pejuang.
Gubernur AAL dan rombongan tampak memasuki areal MBK sekitar pukul 08.00 Wib. Hadir juga dalam ziarah nasional ini, Pangdam V/Brawijaya, Mayjen TNI Widodo Iryansyah, S. Sos., M.M. selaku Pimpinan Ziarah, Danlanud Abdurahmansaleh dan Walikota Blitar serta perwakilan personel tiap angkatan lainnya. Upacara penghormatan secara militer dipimpin Pangdam V/Brw di depan cungkup MBK. Setelah itu dipasang karangan bunga dan dilanjutkan dengan berdoa dan menabur bunga diatas pusara Makam Bung Karno.
“Ziarah nasional ini merupakan tradisi Tentara Nasional Indonesia untuk menyambut hari ulang tahunnya ke-75 pada 5 Oktober mendatang. Jadi kami ziarah ke makam para Presiden RI,” kata Gubernur AAL usai tabur bunga di MBK.
Tak hanya di MBK, hal yang sama juga dilakukan ke makam Gus Dur di Jombang. Kemudian ziarah ke makam mantan Presiden Soeharto dan makam Jenderal Sudirman, hal tersebut berdasarkan Surat Telegram Panglima TNI Nomor ST/1043/2020.
Ziarah Nasioanl di masa pandemic Covid-19 ini, lanjut Gubernur AAL sedikit berbeda dari tahun sebelumnya. Ziarah dilakukan dengan penerapan protocol kesehatan yang ketat, jumlah peziarah dibatasi dan tidak dilakukan dalam rombongan besar seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya secara estafet, namun diwakili oleh para Pangkotama yang ada di daerah.
“Saya berharap, dengan ziarah ke makam mantan Presiden RI ini, TNI dapat mengimplementasikan pesan perjuangan para pahlawan. Sekaligus melanjutkan perjuangan para pendahulu untuk mengisi pembangunan di Indonesia kedepan,” pungkasnya.
Usai melaksanakan ziarah, rombongan beranjak meninggalkan areal MBK sekitar pukul 09.25 Wib. Rombongan menuju ke Pendopo Ronggo Hadinegoro untuk beramah tamah dengan Pemda Blitar untuk selanjutnya kembali ke Surabaya. (Red/Aj)
