Menanggapi pertanyaan ini Kabag Humas Protokol Ditjenpas menyampaikan bahwa, jika mengacu kepada peraturan dan SOP yang ada di Lapas Rutan yang boleh diberitakan ke media luar adalah Kegiatan Pemibinaan, Kepribadian, maupun Kemandirian dan Kunjungan dengan catatan Narapidana/Tahanan dan Keluarga berkenan untuk di Liput oleh media Luar, kemudian bidang-bidang seperti keamanan, tempat menyimpan senjata, dan ketertiban di area Blok Hunian tentunya tidak diperbolehkan untuk di Publikasikan mengingat dapat berpotensi mengganggu Kemanan dan Ketertiban di Lapas/Rutan.
