JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Ketua Umum Partai NasDem, Surya Paloh mengatakan bahwa partainya krisis kader sehingga akan menggelar konvensi capres untuk Pilpres 2024 mendatang.
“NasDem itu krisis kader. Bukan hanya partai, negeri ini pun krisis kader negarawan,” ujar Paloh beberapa waktu lalu.
Sehingga ia mengaku partainya tidak keberatan sekalipun mengusung calon yang bukan merupakan kader partai.
“Calon tidak harus menjadi kader partai. NasDem memediasi, menjadi fasilitator,” imbuh Paloh.
Ide menggelar konvensi Capres 2024 ini disampaikan secara resmi dalam rekomendasi Kongres II NasDem, Jiexpo, Jakarta Pusat, pada Senin, 11 November 2019.
Ketua Steering Committee Kongres II NasDem, Sugeng Suparwoto menyatakan NasDem ingin mencari calon pemimpin seluas-luasnya dan tak terbatas dari kader internal.
“Konvensi terbuka untuk seluruh lapisan masyarakat, tidak hanya dari kader NasDem,” ujar Ketua Bidang Pemenangan NasDem di Jawa Tengah-Yogyakarta ini di arena Kongres II NasDem, Jiexpo, Jakarta Pusat, Senin, (11/11/2019).
Rencananya konvensi capres yang akan dilaksanakan Partai NasDem sekitar dua tahun sebelum pelaksanaan Pilpres 2024, atau tepatnya tahun 2022 mendatang.
