SOLO – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Gibran Rakabuming Raka akan segera mendaftarkan diri untuk Pilkada Solo melalui DPD PDIP Jawa Tengah.
Gibran mengaku sudah meminta restu kepada ayahnya, Presiden Joko Widodo dan sang ibunda Iriana.
“Minta doa sama Bapak, Eyang Putri sudah. Sama Ibu, istri, dan keluarga besar juga sudah,” kata Gibran kepada wartawan di Solo menjelang keberangkatan ke DPD PDIP Jateng, Kamis (12/12/2019).
Gibran mengaku bahwa Jokowi meminta dia untuk tetap semangat dalam menjalani rangkaian kontestasi di Pilkada Solo 2020 mendatang.
“Pesan dari Bapak, harus tetap semangat. Jangan ada jalan pintas, semua mekanisme partai harus dilalui. Kalau pesan dari Eyang, harus jadi pemimpin yang amanah, sabar, dan ikhlas,” beber Gibran.
Gibran pagi ini berangkat ke Semarang diantar ratusan relawan. Puluhan bus yang mereka tumpangi berangkat beriringan.
Dia mengaku semakin percaya diri dengan banyaknya relawan yang datang untuk mendukung. “Persiapan berangkat ke Semarang semuanya sudah siap. Relawan juga sudah siap,” jelas Gibran.
