JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Eks Hakim Agung Mahkamah Agung (MA), Artidjo Alkotsar merupakan satu dari lima anggota Dewan Pengawas KPK yang dilantik Presiden Joko Widodo di Istana Negara, Jumat, (20/12/2019).
“Ya negara kita jangan sampai kumuh dengan korupsi. Apapun yang dapat kita perbuat, ya kita perbuat. Kita cinta negeri ini. Satu saat republik ini akan bebas dari korupsi tapi harus bertahap, sabar,” kata Artidjo di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta Pusat, Jumat (20/12/2019).
Dia mengaku siap membantu negara dalam memberantas korupsi.
“Yaa panggilan republik ini, saya tidak boleh egoistis, mungkin kepentingan saya tapi kan kalau itu diperlukan kan negara perlu kita bantu, negara kita kan negara kita bersama,” ujar dia.
Artidjo juga menanggapi polemik mengenai keberadaan Dewan Pengawas KPK. Menurut dia, efektivitas Dewan Pengawas KPK tergantung individu di dalamnya.
“Tidak tergantung orangnya, kita profesional dan proporsional, proporsional itu penting menjaga keseimbangan supaya lembaga ini sehat dan bekerja baik, sesuai harapan bersama,” ujar dia.
