Dalam rangka memperingati HUT Jakarta yang ke-495, Gubernur DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan menghadiri “Federation Equestrian International (FEI) Jumping Challenge 2022” yang diselenggarakan oleh Equinara Horse Sport, bertempat di Jakarta International Equestrian Park Pulomas (JIEPP).
Dalam acara ini, pada peserta memperebutkan Piala Gubernur DKI Jakarta untuk kelas paling bergengsi dengan tinggi rintangan 130 dan145 cm. Ajang ini juga merupakan Simulasi Asian Games 2022, Huangzhou, yg akan diselenggarakan pada tahun 2023.
Gubernur Anies Baswedan sangat mengapresiasi terselenggaranya event berkelas dengan standard regulasi Internasional seperti ini yang mendapat sambutan luar biasa dari para atlet dan warga Jakarta.
“Saya senang dan bangga melihat semangat para peserta yang datang dari berbagai provinsi untuk berkompetisi. Terlebih antusias warga Jakarta yang semakin menyambut baik olahraga berkuda Equestrian ini”, ungkap nya.
Anies meyakini bahwa hadirnya JIEPP sebagai salah satu Fasilitas Olahraga Equestrian terlengkap di Asia merupakan sarana untuk melahirkan atlet nasional yang akan mengharumkan nama Bangsa.
Pada event tersebut, Gubernur DKI Anies menyerahkan Piala dan Medali Penghargaan kepada para pemenang dari 2 kelas paling bergengsi.
Adapun Piala Gubernur DKI 2022 diberikan kepada Juara Pertama masing-masing kelas 130 cm, Agung Riyanto (Bosco – Branchto Stable), dan Kelas 145 cm kepada Marco Wowiling (Equinara Horse Sport).
Sebagaimana diketahui, JIEPP yang digunakan untuk Venue Asian Games 2018 lalu ini telah ditetapkan menjadi salah satu Destinasi Wisata Kota Jakarta.
Acara ini diikuti oleh 182 kuda (504 Entries) dengan peserta dari 27 klub yang berasal dari 7 Provinsi; DKI, Jabar, Jateng, Jatim, Bali, Lampung dan Sumsel.
Inisiator Acara (Honorary President), Adinda Yuanita mengatakan bahwa sebagai bentuk keseriusan dan upaya peningkatan kualitas pertandingan, acara ini menghadirkan Internasional Official dari 4 negara; Thorsten Wittenberg (Senior Trainer – Longines World Academy Equestrian, Germany), Waldo Yeh (Judge L-3 FEI asal Taiwan), Ramin Shafiee (Technical Delegate Asian Games 2022, Iran) dan Mr. Nai Yue H (President of Ground Juri L-3 asal Singapore).
