JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) meminta Menteri Pertahanan, Prabowo Subianto bersikap tegas soal sikap China yang mengklaim perairan Laut Natuna.
PKS menegaskan, apa yang dilakukan China sudah mengancam kedaulatan NKRI dan mesti disikapi serius.
“Pak Prabowo sebagai Menhan tidak boleh anggap isu kedaulatan sebagai isu yang enteng, santai. Sikapnya harus tegas dan punya wibawa. Kalau lembek, santai-santai, maka bangsa ini akan semakin direndahkan oleh bangsa lain karena tidak punya keberanian dalam bersikap,” ujar juru bicara PKS, Muhammad Kholid, dalam keterangan tertulis, Sabtu (04/01/2020).
Pada sisi lain, ia mendukung sikap tegas Menteri Luar Negeri, Retno Marsudi yang melayangkan protes keras kepada China.
“Jika sudah menyangkut kedaulatan negara, Pemerintah harus bersikap keras dan tegas. Tidak boleh lembek. Meskipun kepada negara sahabat seperti Tiongkok,” sambung Kholid.
Menurutnya, sikap Menlu sebagai upaya untuk menjaga kedaulatan Indonesia dari ancaman negara lain.
Menurut Kholid, sikap politik luar negeri Indonesia jelas terkait klaim ZEE di wilayah Laut Natuna dan Laut Tiongkok Selatan. Indonesia berpegang teguh kepada hukum Internasional dalam UNCLOS 1982 dan keputusan pengadilan arbitrase PBB terkait klaim negara-negara di Laut Tiongkok Selatan.
“Presiden Jokowi harus bersikap jelas dan tegas. Tiongkok sebagai bagian komunitas internasional harus menghormati norma dan hukum internasional yang sudah menjadi kesepakatan bersama bangsa-bangsa di dunia,” paparnya.
Menhan Prabowo sebelumnya menegaskan upaya diplomasi untuk penanganan klaim China atas Natuna.
“Kita selesaikan dengan baik ya, bagaimanapun China negara sahabat,” kata Prabowo di kantor Kemenko Kemaritiman dan Investasi, Jl MH Thamrin, Jakpus, Jumat (03/01/2019).
“Kita cool (tenang) saja. Kita santai kok ya,” tutur Prabowo.
Soal pernyataan Prabowo, Staf Khusus Bidang Komunikasi Publik dan Hubungan Antar-Lembaga Menhan RI, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, menegaskan upaya diplomasi merupakan jalan damai sebagai prinsip pertahanan.
“Sesuai dengan prinsip diplomasi seribu kawan terlalu sedikit, satu lawan terlalu banyak dan prinsip pertahanan kita yang defensif bukan ofensif. Maka penyelesaian masalah selalu mengedepankan upaya kedua prinsip di atas. Maka langkah-langkah damai harus selalu diprioritaskan,” ujar Dahnil, Sabtu (04/01/2020).
