Presiden Jokowi Sampaikan Dukacita Atas Berpulangnya Gus Sholah

Jawa Timur, BERITATERKINI.CO.ID | Presiden Joko Widodo menyampaikan dukacita mendalam atas berpulangnya pengasuh Pondok Pesantren Tebuireng, Jombang, Jawa Timur, yang juga merupakan seorang tokoh bangsa, K.H. Dr. Ir. Salahuddin Wahid, Selasa (4/2).

“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. Saya atas nama pemerintah, negara, dan seluruh masyarakat Indonesia menyampaikan dukacita yang mendalam atas berpulangnya ke rahmatullah Bapak K.H. Dr. Ir. Salahuddin Wahid, Gus Sholah,” kata Presiden di rumah duka, Kecamatan Mampang Prapatan, Jakarta Selatan, Senin, 3 Februari 2020.

Gus Sholah, sapaan akrab almarhum, putra pahlawan nasional K.H. Wahid Hasyim sekaligus adik kandung dari Presiden ke-4 RI K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid, diketahui berpulang dalam usia 77 tahun di Rumah Sakit Harapan Kita sekira pukul 20.55 WIB.

Kepala Negara menyebut bahwa semasa hidupnya almarhum merupakan cendekiawan muslim yang menjadi panutan masyarakat. Presiden juga mengatakan, rakyat Indonesia merasa sangat kehilangan atas kepergian almarhum.

“Semoga segala amal baik Gus Sholah diterima di sisi Allah SWT, husnul khatimah, dan yang ditinggalkan diberikan ketabahan serta kesabaran,” kata Presiden.

Presiden Joko Widodo memiliki kenangan tersendiri atas kiprah almarhum semasa hidup. Menurutnya, Gus Sholah akan selalu dikenang sebagai tokoh yang gigih menjaga dan merawat persatuan bangsa.

“Beliau banyak menyampaikan mengenai keislaman dan keindonesiaan. Saya kira hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan Islam dan kebangsaan sering disampaikan beliau kepada saya,” kata Presiden.

Untuk diketahui, Presiden Tiba di rumah duka sekira pukul 07.34 WIB pada Senin pagi, 3 Februari 2020. Presiden diterima langsung oleh Irfan Asy’ari Sudirman Wahid. Bersamaan dengan kunjungan Presiden, hadir pula di antaranya Wakil Presiden ke-10 dan ke-12 RI Jusuf Kalla, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno, Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi, Menteri Perhubungan Budi Karya Sumadi, Kepala Staf Kepresidenan Moeldoko, dan Staf Khusus Presiden Aminuddin Ma’ruf.
