Fogging kali ini dilakukan di Desa Margodadi Dusun 5 Kecamatan Jati Agung, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, Jum’at (20/3/2020).
Fogging dilakukan sebagi langkah tindak-lanjut Puskesmas Karang Anyar dari informasi dan laporan warga, sebelumnya telah dilakukan Fogging juga di Desa Karang Sari, Kecamatan Jati Agung, Kamis (19/3/2020).
Selain petugas kesehatan Banjar Agung, turut serta dalam agenda Fogging tersebut Kepala Dusun 5 Desa Margodadi, Naproni selaku KAUR setempat dan Maria Agata Wartinem Anggota DPRD Kabupaten Lampung Selatan dari Fraksi Partai Golkar.
Kepada kantor berita Jarrakpos, Maria yang juga anggota tim Gerakan Aspirasi Rembuk Desa Unggul (GARDU) Tony Eka Candra (TEC) mengatakan telah ada korban akibat nyamuk Aedes aegypti tersebut, warga yang merupakan suami-istri menjadi korban demam berdarah atau demam dengue (DBD) di Desa Margodadi.
“Telah ada korban meninggal dunia karena serangan nyamuk Aedes aegypti akibatnya warga mengalami demam berdarah, warga yang terkena DBD itu suami Istri, sebelumnya sempat dirawat di Rumah sakit Urip Sumoharjo, sedangkan istrinya masih dirawat di rumah”, terangnya.
