JAKARTA, BERITATERKINI.CO.ID | Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) membatasi perpindahan orang dari satu tempat ke tempat lain untuk mencegah penyebaran virus corona COVID-19.
Dalam menghadapi mudik Idul Fitri 2020, Jokowi meminta langkah tegas untuk mencegah pergerakan orang untuk pulang kampung.
“Fokus kita saat ini adalah mencegah meluasnya COVID-19 dengan mengurangi atau membatasi pergerakan orang dari satu tempat ke tempat yang lain.
Kedua, demi keselamatan bersama, saya juga meminta dilakukan langkah-langkah yang lebih tegas untuk mencegah pergerakan orang ke daerah,” ujar Jokowi dalam rapat terbatas antisipasi mudik Lebaran yang disiarkan di channel YouTube Sekretariat Presiden, Senin (30/3/2020).
Jokowi sudah melihat imbauan-imbauan dari kepala daerah serta tokoh kepada perantau untuk tidak mudik. Namun menurutnya, langkah itu masih belum cukup.
“Saya melihat sudah ada imbauan dari tokoh-tokoh dan gubernur kepada perantau di Jabodetabek untuk tidak mudik, dan ini saya minta untuk diteruskan dan digencarkan lagi, tapi menurut saya imbauan seperti ini juga belum cukup.
Perlu langkah yang lebih tegas untuk memutus rantai penyebaran COVID-19 ini,” ujar Jokowi.
Untuk warga yang terlanjur mudik, Jokowi meminta kepala daerah setempat meningkatkan lagi pengawasannya. Ini dilakukan untuk memutus rantai penyebaran COVID-19.
“Untuk warga terlanjur mudik saya minta gubernur, bupati dan wali kota meningkatkan pengawasannya, pengawasan di wilayah masing masing sangat penting sekali,” kata Jokowi. /Beritaterkini
