JAKARTA, BERITATERKINI.CO.ID | Di tengah Pandemi COVID-19, penangangan, pencegahan serta penindakan atas korupsi di Indonseia dipastikan tetap akan berjalan dengan baik, adapun pada hari ini, minggu 05 maret 2020 KPK telah melakukan penahanan Rutan pada tersangka STR (Legal Manager PT Duta Palma Grup tahun 2014).
Penahanan tersebut dilakukan setelah serangkaian penyidikan, penyidik dalam dugaan korupsi alih fungsi hutan di Propinsi Riau tahun 2014 pada Kementrian Kehutanan RI. Ujar juru bicara KPK Ali Fikri kepada media di Jakarta. Minggu (5/04/2020).
Ali Fikri juga menuturkan bahwa penahanan dilakukan untuk 20 hari ke depan terhitung sejak tanggal 5 April 2020 sampai dengan 24 April 2020, dan tersangka ditahan di Rutan Cabang KPK di Gedung KPK Kavling C1.
“Adapun, berita Acara Penahanan telah ditandatangani oleh tersangka di KPK pada hari Jumat tanggal 3 April 2020.” Imbuhnya.
Sebelumnya Tsk STR telah menjalani hukuman penjara selama 1 (satu) tahun di Rutan Pekanbaru dalam perkara kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Kabupaten Pelalawan dan hukuman berakhir pada tanggal 5 April 2020. Jelas Ali Fikri.
Lebih lanjut Ali Fikri mengatakan bahwa dari informasi yang kami terima bahwasanya tersangka sebelumnya sempat menjadi buronan kejaksaan selama 4 tahun sejak tahun 2015 yang berhasil dieksekusi oleh Kejaksaan Negeri Pelalawan pada tahun 2019.
Terhitung Februari 2020 atas ijin dari Dirjen PAS penahanan dipindahkan ke rutan KPK untuk memudahkan proses penyidikan dugaan tindak pidana korupsi oleh KPK. Terangnya.
“Meski dalam situasi pandemi Covid-19, saat ini KPK tetap bekerja dengan skala prioritas dan tetap waspada akan bahaya penyebaran virus corona.”
Di tengah-tengah keprihatinan ini KPK juga mengajak masyarakat untuk meningkatkan rasa empati dan peduli pada bangsa ini dengan tidak melakukan korupsi. Semoga wabah ini segera berakhir. Pungkas Ali Fikri juru bicara KPK. /@yfi/beritaterkini.
