Rumah Warga Kampung Simpang Asam, Kec. Banjit Way Kanan Lenyap Dilalap Si Jago Merah

WAY KANAN, WWW.BERITATERKINI.CO.ID | Salah satu rumah yang berada di Kampung Simpang Asam, Kecamatan Banjit, Kabupaten Way Kanan lenyap di lalap si jago merah.

Kebakaran yang menghanguskan kediaman korban bernama Redi Saputra (23) tersebut terjadi pada Sabtu, (25/04/2020) sekira pukul 04.00 WIB dini hari.

Pasca kejadian, petugas Kepolisian Sektor Banjit setelah mendapatkan informasi dan laporan langsung mendatangi rumah korban yang bernama Redi Saputra (23) tersebut guna melakukan penyelidikan.

Kapolsek Banjit, Iptu Abri Firdaus menjelaskan menurut keterangan saksi, diduga api berasal dari korsleting atau hubungan arus pendek listrik sehingga api merambat dan membesar lalu membakar rumah yang terbuat dari kayu dengan dinding papan, atap genteng dengan ukuran rumah ( 4 x 6 ) m² tersebut.

“Saat itu korban sedang tertidur bersama istri dan adiknya, menyadari terjadinya kebakaran dan berusaha keluar dari dalam rumah untuk menyelamatkan diri serta meminta bantuan warga. Melihat api yang mulai membesar, mereka pun tidak berhasil menyelamatkan barang berharga milik korban. oleh warga sekitar pukul 05.00 WIB. Api baru berhasil dipadamkan,” ungkapnya.

Sementara akibat peristiwa tersebut, korban mengalami kerugian berupa 1 (satu) unit sepeda motor jenis Yamaha Vixion beserta STNK, lemari pakaian, dan 1 unit rumah yang terbuat dari papan (gubuk) ukuran kurag lebih 4 X 6 M. Ditaksir kerugian keseluruhan tersebut sekitar Rp. 40. Juta rupiah. /rls/Yuswantoro
