SEBUAH dusun di Magelang yang punya pesona mirip di Pegunungan Himalaya, Nepal sedang viral di jagad maya.
Tempat tersebut ialah Dusun Butuh yang berada di Desa Temanggung, Kecamatan Kaliangkrik, Kabupaten Magelang, Jawa Tengah.
Dusun ini dikenal dengan keunikannya, yaitu memiliki susunan rumah yang bertingkat dengan latar belakang Gunung Sumbing yang megah. Panorama yang indah dan udara yang sejuk membuat kagum siapa pun yang berkunjung.
Kepala Dusun Butuh Lilik Setyawan, menuturkan bahwa cerita soal Dusun Butuh yang bak Nepal mulai muncul tepat setahun lalu pada bulan Juni 2019, mengutip Kumparan.
Ada seorang pendaki senior yang liburan ke Dusun Butuh. Lalu, tercetuslah sebutan Dusun Butuh yang mirip sekali dengan Nepal. Foto Dusun Butuh yang terkenal dengan pemandangannya bak Nepal diunggah di media sosial hingga viral.
“Karena selama ini kami tinggal di tempat yang memang sudah seperti ini dari dulu, hanya saja karena viralnya di medsos jadi banyak orang yang tahu dan berkunjung untuk menikmati suasana Dusun Butuh yang mirip Nepal di lereng Gunung Everest,” kata Lilik, saat dihubungi kumparan, Rabu (22/7).
Lilik pun menjelaskan sebelum muncul istilah Nepal, dusun ini juga sempat disebut seperti Rio De Janeiro (Brasil). Ada pula yang menyebut dusun ini mirip Tibet.
Hal tersebut dikarenakan kontur Dusun Butuh yang bertingkat layaknya sebuah terasering. Susunan rumah warga di Dusun Butuh cukup unik. Rumah dibangun beraturan, mengikuti kontur dari kaki Gunung Sumbing.
Sebab, sebelumnya tempat ini merupakan ladang pertanian warga, sehingga bangunan rumahnya jadi mengikuti kontur lahan. Dari bawah memanjang terus ke lereng paling atas.
“Yang unik seperti yang banyak orang tahu adalah tata letak bangunan yang mirip anak tangga, karena awalnya terbentuk dari terasering lahan dan berada di ketinggian mulai dari 1.600 mdpl,” lanjut Lilik.
Menariknya lagi, Dusun butuh juga disebut-sebut sebagai dusun tertinggi di Kabupaten Magelang. Hal ini karena dusun tersebut terletak tepat di kaki Gunung Sumbing dengan ketinggian 1.600 meter di atas permukaan laut.
Oleh sebab itu, ada banyak spot foto yang ditawarkan di tempat ini, salah satunya di tikungan sebelum pasar yang kerap jadi spot foto pengunjung.
Spot foto tersebut berada tepat di atas atap rumah salah satu warga. Dari sini, pemandangan Dusun Butuh terlihat secara keseluruhan, sehingga menjadi spot favorit wisatawan.
Untuk menikmati pemandangan yang lebih luas, kamu juga bisa naik ke tempat yang lebih tinggi lagi ke arah permukiman warga di atas. Hanya saja, kamu harus hati-hati karena jalannya yang cukup terjal.
Keistimewaan yang lain adalah warga dusun ini yang sangat ramah dengan pengunjung. Pengunjung maupun pendaki yang datang ke sini dianggap seperti tamu yang ingin bersilaturahmi.
Di dusun itu ada lebih dari 610 KK atau 3.000 warga yang tinggal. Rumahnya berada di pereng bukit. Setiap rumah berdekatan satu sama lain.
Warga setempat banyak yang bekerja sebagai petani. Mayoritas memanfaatkan lahan di sekitar rumah untuk bercocok tanam. Banyak tanaman sayuran. Tak sedikit pula tanaman rempah-rempah.
Dusun Butuh ini merupakan pintu gerbang naik ke Gunung Sumbing. Sejumlah warga juga berkecimpung di dunia wisata adventure pendakian.
Buat yang tertarik untuk menikmati keindahan Dusun Butuh, dusun ini terletak kurang lebih 20 km dari Kota Magelang dan dibutuhkan waktu sekitar 30 menit hingga satu jam perjalanan. Kamu bisa menggunakan kendaraan pribadi melalui jalan Bandongan dan Jalan Raya Kaliangkrik.
“Ini adalah dusun tertinggi di Kabupaten Magelang. Lebih tinggi dari Gunung Andong.”
