Sejak awal 2020 kita telah mulai berdialog tentang RUU Cipta Kerja, baik secara formal melalui lembaga Tripartit, maupun secara informal.

Aspirasi kalian sudah Kami dengar, sudah Kami pahami.

Sedapat mungkin aspirasi ini kami sertakan menjadi bagian dari RUU ini. Pada saat yang sama kami juga menerima aspirasi dari berbagai kalangan.

Saya berupaya mencari titik keseimbangan.

Antara melindungi yang telah bekerja dan memberi kesempatan kerja pada jutaan orang yang masih menganggur, yang tak punya penghasilan dan kebanggaan.

Tidak mudah memang, tapi kami perjuangkan dengan sebaik-baiknya.

Saya paham ada di antara teman-teman yang kecewa atau belum puas.

Saya menerima dan mengerti. Ingatlah, hati saya bersama kalian dan bersama mereka yang masih menganggur.

Terkait rencana mogok nasional, saya meminta agar dipikirkan lagi dengan tenang karena situasi jelas tidak memungkinkan untuk turun ke jalan, untuk berkumpul.

Pandemi Covid masih tinggi, masih belum ada vaksinnya.

Pertimbangkan ulang rencana mogok itu. Bacalah secara utuh RUU Cipta Kerja ini. Banyak sekali aspirasi teman-teman yang kami akomodir. Soal PKWT, outsourcing, syarat PHK, itu semua masih mengacu pada UU lama.

Soal upah juga masih mengakomodir adanya UMK. Jika teman-teman ingin 100% diakomodir, itu tidak mungkin. Namun bacalah hasilnya.

Akan terlihat bahwa keberpihakan kami terang benderang.

Karena sudah banyak yang diakomodir, maka mogok menjadi tidak relevan. Lupakanlah rencana itu.

Jangan ambil resiko membahayakan nyawa kalian, istri, suami dan anak-anak di rumah. Mereka wajib kita jaga agar tetap sehat.

Saya mengajak kita kembali duduk bareng. Dengan semangat untuk melindungi yang sedang bekerja dan memberi pekerjaan bagi yang masih nganggur.

Saya dengan antusias menunggu kehadiran teman-teman di meja dialog, bukan di jalanan.
